Hosts of Contests (without club status) Demanding a Club status

Thanks for sharing a calculation about burnsteem again.

Since the clubs didn't bring too much good (I would love to hear some opinions/statements it did and does) two questions remain: 1. Is it possible to give Steem a higher value? 2. Does Steemit need all those posters since it's a fact hardly anyone will ever read them (mods won't, other Steemians won't) the lack of comments is enough proof.
This brings me back to the first years where we figured out the only way up was to connect and invest which was and is the whole idea of this platform.

If what is tried doesn't work, it's time for something new.

Kind of pity is that the idea of @pennsif to let SC only upvote comments has never been realized and the standard for "good content" to reward is unknown if not ignored.

Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post.

pennsif idea is a good one though it doesn't go down well with me, posts are still important in this platform, SC should still vote posts. Curating only comments isn't a nice idea

A nice idea is that out of the SC03-09, 4 team should vote posts, 3 teams should vote and nominate only comments. I think there will be a positive change after this.

You never read why he said this did you? The idea was to make people comment more, make them understand this is important. What's the point in writing a comment for 1 or 2 hours like I do and this time after time and next there's no time left to write?

There's no other way to make people realize that commenters are needed not more posts of the same. The quality is far from high. You don't need to have a high education to notice that.
Your idea can be a follow up from what @pennsif suggested but it will not help now because over 50% will still receive upvotes for posts (so why comment?) next to that SC01 and SC02 upvote posts (right now mainly teaching team entries, so again posts are rewarded and people/the former SEC hunters, will simply join these contests and again not comment.).

We also know that from the biggest countries voting for mainly own 'toko' is the trend so those 4 SCs voting for posts will not search for those "hidden gems" because it takes too much time and friends should be pleased.

I understand what you meant but they can put my idea into practice for two months and see how it goes, then if it doesn't go well they can implement @pennsif idea.

I doubt the difference is noticeable which is the main problem. If you don't feel it in your pocket you will not change. Some more trained SC's might be a good idea as well like has been discussed in August.

Hmm I see.
