Beauty And History Of Badshahi Mosque:

The Badshahi Mosque was built by Aurangzeb Alamgir in 1673. This magnificent mosque is a great example of the Mughal era and is now the identity of the famous city of Lahore in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is the second largest mosque in Pakistan after the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad.One lakh people can pray in this mosque at a time. The style of construction of this mosque is very similar to that of Jamia Masjid Delhi which was built by Aurangzeb's father Shah Jahan in 1648. The period also continued under the name of Jamia Masjid.As well as being a rare example of a Fluna joke in architecture, it is undisputedly the largest mosque in the world for worshipers for more than three hundred years after its construction.

This mosque was built in 1673 on the orders of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir by his foster brother Fidai Khan in front of Akbar Darwaza in Lahore. After the construction, the distance from Lahore city can be seen from outside.This mosque is very beautiful, charming and very lovely.Every year millions of people from all over the world come to see the beauty of the mosque and mention the beauty of the mosque in their writings. This mosque is very big and very famous because of which it is considered all over the world.

The courtyard of the mosque is very wide and spacious. The charminar is very high. The dome is also so high that it looks like the minarets.To the north and south-east of the mosque, there are serious rooms for dervishes and students.

The Badshahi Mosque was the largest mosque of the Mughal period and today is the second largest mosque in Pakistan. The full name of the mosque is Abu Al-Zafar Mohi-ud-Din Muhammad Alamgir Badshah which is inscribed in marble above its entrance.The mosque and its entrance are located on a large square base which is 22 feet high. After entering through the entrance of the mosque there is a courtyard which covers an area of ​​276,000 square feet and can accommodate 100,000 worshipers.

There is a fountain in the middle of the courtyard of the mosque. Ten thousand worshipers can come in the inner part of the mosque. There is also a library in this mosque which is very magnificent.There is a hotel next to the mosque. From the hotel comes a very beautiful view of the mosque.
