Success on Steemit Depends on Comments - My History of Steemit as a Commentator

in hive-152587 •  4 years ago
I didn’t know English and that’s why I started using Google Translate, I had to put in a lot of effort to understand the posts and give comments. I saw a lot of short comments (Thanks for sharing, awesome post, great job etc) I thought it was a coded Steem language to support the author. In the beginning, my goal was to give as many comments as possible, but with small and similar comments I did not manage to achieve anything, I did not manage to connect with the authors. Then I focused on 20 authors, I read all their posts every day, it was important for me to read posts from authors I liked, to understand the post and to understand their way of thinking. I have been educating people about communication and sales for over 20 years, I used my knowledge to create a system of success through comments because without the support of stronger users I did not have a chance to succeed. I made a division into four communication styles (controller, promoter, analyzer and supporter), each author had one of these four types, I had to write creatively and in a way that the authors would like. I wrote every day on every post by 20 authors, if someone didn’t reward me after seven days, I would stop following him and put someone else in his place. I did so for several months until my username was accepted by a sufficient number of users who rewarded my work. 85% of success depends on communication, if you want to become successful then you need to connect with successful users, you need to establish an honest relationship, and it is best to do it through comments. This is not easy, reading and writing comments takes a lot of time, it takes a lot of discipline, and certainly, in every comment, you get a response to, your words should be the last.

Many times I went to bed late, I used to get up early, I was spartanly disciplined and dedicated to becoming a successful Steemian. I know how hard it is to write a good comment, to write a great post, but I have to tell you the good news, that success is a matter of habit and that you are getting faster and better every day. What is most important is that through the process of connecting with other successful users, we gain knowledge, perfect models of success and that is what is most important, and we become real friends with many. If we look at overnight earnings it is not good because we can quickly lose enthusiasm, get disappointed and give up. It’s best to focus on establishing a good relationship with the authors, to make every comment and post of yours inspiring, to add value to the entire Steem Universe.

The moment your posts get a lot of attention, big earnings is a sign that you have achieved real success. Don’t look at people as ATMs giving you money, the point is that we are all people with emotions, jobs, responsibilities, family and our personal problems. Look at each person in the soul, in the heart, the point is to become sincere friends with those people who suit us best, whose value system fits with our value system. There are probably other ways, my way of succeeding on Steemit is honest communication, everyone should be listened to and act in the right way with honourable intentions. We all together make a big Family that wants to be successful and recognizable in the world, now is the time to invest in Steem, its growth potential is huge.

Hello @dobartim, I think the mindset you've developed over time has made you a very positive person. Everybody should aspire to become like that.

Many times people I see are listening and watching other people, that is the best thing to learn but what they can do is to give feedback over what they learned from the person and what can be done better. Most of the time, people buying services or products also do the same, they do not give feedback. This should be done mandatory for all the people using platforms to give feedback for whatever they purchased or got for free. Even if it takes out 2 minutes of our life, giving feedback does not hurt anybody and created value in the process.

I like the way you are motivating people on the steem blockchain. I think you don't remember but we had a good conversation earlier too. Thanks for being an active user and motivating other people.

See you at the top brother.

WE WIN TOGETHER

Yes, every action must be properly planned and executed. I fully understand that not all content is equally relevant to everyone. What is good for me may not be good for someone else. In this sense, selecting well those we want to follow will be a key point in order to fulfill the requirement.

Another piece of success story enriched with knowledge and wisdom from @dobartim... In any success journey the role of discipline cannot be overemphasized... I can relate with my knowledge of the spartan story, when you mentioned

I was spartanly disciplined and dedicated to becoming a successful Steemian.

Damn! Disciplined... But i'm sure it's not just about disciline but but being discipline doing what it takes like you expressed here, Communication. Your 20 years experience of educating on communication is not just a past time but has enriched you with wisdom and made you a well the thirsty can draw from.
I'm humble to be your student to satisfy my thirst to become a successful steemian.
Thanks for this wonderful piece @dobartim, looking forward to seeing you relate your tricks and techniques in your journey to success.

Success has no tricks, it is the path we take climbing all the bigger peaks.

It’s truly an amazing post. It’s like the chicken soup for soul of steemian. I got many lesson from it, especially how to comment well and build honest relationship, a true friendship though it’s virtual. But who knows, one day we may visit each other.
Thank you for the inspiring post @dobartim..
