Motivation is coming with your feelings, thoughts and etc. As an example, when you are interesting about new things and you need to do it, we can call it as a motivation. This feeling comes from hormones likes dopamine and serotonin which release from your brain. These hormones are not release all the times and not lives longer time. As an example, some days you feel lazy, because you do not have any motivation. Simply, the motivation like a soap bubble.
Self-discipline can be defined as your ability to do some kind of work. For this you do not need any feelings or motivation.
Simple we can explain if motivation is a 100m race, then self-discipline is a marathon. So, if you need to achieve your goals you must need a self-discipline and concentration. So, when you understand the fact, please read the following steps to build-up self-discipline.
- Always think why you need discipline
Always ask ‘Why?’ from your self if you want to do important work continuously. AS an example, write down your goal on a paper and keep it in your pocket or stick on your wall infront of your working table. Or you can change your laptop and mobile wall paper. It can be your dream house, car, business, educational achievement or any other goal.
So, then you can see your goal in every time and you will remember that why you are self-discipline and why you want to self-discipline. Basically, it tells you this is the reason for all the work you’re engaging in.
