Problems are a constant in life. Imaging you trying solve your health problem by joining a gym club, you also create a new problems like getting to wake up early in the morning so as to get to the gym on time, sweating like a meth-head then getting showered and preparing for work so you don't stink at work place.
When you solve your problem of not spending time with your partner by designating a special day as 'date night' you bring new problems, you try to make sure you have to do something special on that day so that you both won't hate it,you also make sure you have enough money so as to go on nice dinners.
Problems never stop; they merely get exchanged or upgraded.
Happiness comes from solving problems, the keyword here is 'solving' if you are avoiding your problems or feel like you don't have any problems, then you are going to make your self miserably. If you feel like you have a problem you can't solve, you are likely to make your self miserably. The secret sauce is just for you to solve your problems. To be happy we need something to solve, happiness is therefore an action; is an activity not something that is bestowed upon you, or something you magically find. Happiness doesn't magically appear when you make enough money to buy a new house.

Happiness is a constant work in-progress the solution for today's problem will lay a foundation for tomorrow's problem and so on.
Whatever your problem is you need to face it and solve it and be happy at the end; unfortunately for others life doesn't seems simple, which is because they fuck things up in one of the two ways below.
#Denial; many people tend to denial the fact that they have problems, and which need to be solved, which causes them insecurity and emotional problem.
#Victim mentality; other set of people feel that there is nothing they can do to solve their problems even when they could, but because they've already made up their mind they tend not to be able to solve it. Which finally leads to a helplessness and despair life.
