Inside the mind’s labyrinth
hope lays dormant
sat in wait
for fortunes’ fate.
Despair claws its’ wretched hold
like moss wound over gold.
So
rise up
seize control
fight with all you can
to restore destiny’s faith
and embrace hope once again.
