A Rose flower set in stone
Like the melodies of alien tones.
A life somnolent and expendable
But full of Grace and quite Noble.
Sustained by the lover's delight
She grows in frame and might.
With petals and thorns of stone
She Ward's off assault and blows
Of the perverted and insane.
They have no love but lust!
Rape and plunder of The Dame
Is intent after which they sought.
But Providence ever on Guard
To protect the chaste from harm
The Stone Rose wins the day
To live evermore free from decay
