I am an industrial engineer and I have worked in the planning and management area.
I want to share some advice, some business tips for the success of the management of any company, no matter how small. From experience, these tips will never go out of style, if it is about the success of our company, we must consider the following points:
1 Mission and business vision
Friends, if we do not know what we are doing and we do not know where we are going, you must be sure that the company is going to fail. The first law is that all employees must know the reason for the company being, what it does and how it does it.
Second, we must all be clear about where we want to go, and that is achieved when the board of directors injects resources and knowledge into the staff and especially, leads the team to achieve the objectives.
2 Plan
When the company is clear about what to do and where it is going, strategies must be defined and planned, where the objectives and activities to be carried out, resources, established periods and responsibilities must be detailed.
I insist, from the directive to the employee, you must know their activities and responsibilities. It is necessary to adjust to the strategic objectives to fulfill the planned.
3 Execute
Every process is important but just in the execution, it is where we will realize how the company is performing, how the planned is working in real time, leaving traceability of the management and statistics of the behavior of the activities.
4 Control
Undoubtedly, while observing the behavior of the results, it is fair and necessary to record traceability and establish actions to correct those inconveniences or problems that may appear.
Controlling the process is essential, correcting failures is mandatory, improving the process is a priority. For these reasons, controlling is the way to seek continuous improvement.
So,
If you lie in the process and results, there will never be a reason for improvement and the company will automatically decline.
My motto is, accepting weaknesses translates into strengthening management through strategies and achieving success in the best conditions.
