Defying my closed eyes

They became a storm and flooded my room;

And with a desperate cry,

I swam to the surface

From this sea of ​​tears.

And in the distance I saw a small boat,

And to a man who slept peacefully in it,

And I said to him: Wake up!

Can't you hear my soul that is crying? "

I yelled at him: Look at me!

That in my own tears I am drowning,

I begged him:

Help me! If you are asleep, wake up

Cause I'm alone in the storm

And my soul does not stop crying ...

And the man opened his eyes

He reached out his hand, put me in his boat,

He stood up and with a tender, serene and sincere voice,

He said to my soul:

Calm!

Because there is no sadness without reason,

Today you cry for the wounds,

That were hidden,

Calm!

Be silent, storm of pain,

The tears drew

The memories that were left

Buried in your heart.

But I have come to bring you peace,

To give you joy

So that you don't cry anymore,

And that at the beginning of the day,

Open your eyes

And instead of tears

My shining light

Illuminate the corners of your mind,

And illuminate the emotions that sleep in your room;
