THE LIGHT OF YOUR EYES

by : @vandols

Forgive my kisses on the scent of your yellow head scarf.
The night has cursed me to be a troubled lover.
Amazed waiting for the next night to arrive:

Part of my body is lost at crossroads,
past cities, Various stalls of sorrow.
A number of names and a fast evening.
In my heart words are chasing
like the waves of the ocean of poetry in the early hours of the morning.

Here are my face and hands:
Peacefully slice your smile.
Complete my grief.

My face is lost in the glow of your shining eyes.
My hand is stiff writing your secret complaints.
Later,
all my verses wash your inner wounds.
Time also raised me to be
a doubter.

Then don't take off your yellow head scarf.
Love me with the light of your eyes.

Banda Aceh, 21 April 2021.
