Warren Buffett is my role model as I also pursue value investing in long terms. I like his quotes a lot since his words can be applied not only at investing but also at attitude and problems in life.
1- A simple rule dictates my buying: Be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy when others are fearful.
2- Uncertainty actually is the friend of the buyer of long-term values.
3- You only learn who has been swimming naked when the tide goes out.
4- Rule No.1 is never lose money. Rule No.2 is never forget Rule No.1.
5- The stock market is a no-called-strike game. You don't have to swing at everything – you can wait for your pitch.
6- A very rich person should leave his kids rich enough to do anything but not enough to do nothing.
7- I have every possession I want. I have a lot of friends who have a lot more possessions. But in some cases, I feel the possession possesses them, rather than the other way around.
8- Your best investment is yourself. There is nothing that compares to it.
9- Someone's sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.
My favorite quote of buffett is the one below.
10- If you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die.
- I feel this is so right. This quote gave me a bit of shock when I first saw it and made me start investing.
To make money even when I sleep, I am working on blogs(NAVER, Steemit), investments(dividends) and programming(advertisement profits). There is a Korean idiom that says 'Gathering dusts will make a mountain' which means that if you do something steadily no matter how insignificant it seems, your works will pay off someday. I will try to earn little by little without giving up and make a wealth that will free me.
Thanks for reading and have a nice day.
