Flower are seed bearing plants consisting of reproductive organs (carpels) that are typically surrounded by a brightly colored corrals. A person who grows and sells flower is a florist.
Having come to know the meaning of flowers, now ho can flower be of importance to you.

Importance / benefits of flowers to man

• Flower as an expression of love: flower are used to express love and also as gifts on special occasion.
• Source of income: It provide employment and income to florist.
• For decoration: it can be used for decorating porches, halls or occasion.
• Beautification of environment: The are used to beautify the environment.
• Pleasure and satisfaction:the beauty and fragrance of some flower can give pleasure to human.

Flower have high content of Various biologically active compound such as anthocyanin (glycosides such as pelagodin and) flavin-3-ols and procyanidins.
