I don't feel discriminated against on this resource. Maybe because I mostly publish my posts in one community. There are friendly members here. Although there are not many of them, I feel comfortable in such a community. Unfortunately, it is difficult for new members to gain even slightly noticeable voting power here. You can write great texts for a long time and persistently, post wonderful photos, but the reward will be close to zero.

At the same time, I notice that the connection between the members of this community is really strong. We share not only creativity, but also experience, support each other in difficult times. Each new post is not always just a publication, but an opportunity for dialogue.
Although it may seem on steemit in general that the main attention is paid to already recognized authors, I still periodically feel that some of my posts do not go unnoticed.
