CONTEST #||SHOULD MOTHERS BE THE ONE WITH SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE CARE OF CHILDREN? @lazbless

Hello my fellow steemians, hope you're all doing great, here is another wonderful contest brought up by @peachyladiva and I'm happy to participate in this contest.

Here is my own opinion in this topic;

The question here is, should women alone take care of the children and what's my take on this?

We all know that women has always been the one responsible for the growth of children right from conception, it is the mother who will pass through all the ups and downs during pregnancy, the mother will at a point need to suspend her job because of the baby she's carrying while the father will still be going to his normal day routine, it is the mother who will lose her appetite for food, it's the mother who will be adding weight against her will because of the child and it's the mother who will go through the pains during delivery.

After all these stages and the baby is brought to the world, I don't think it's still right to Leave everything to her. Sometimes the mother will need to struggle to keep her work and also taking care of the baby because gone are the days when women places especially African women were seems to only be in the kitchen and keeping the household, nowadays, mothers have career, they have dreams and they also work hard to actualize these things and to take care of the family too. This is really a heavy load on them and I believe they need some assistance, even when they have the biggest role in the up bringing of a child, fathers should at least try to come in at some point to make it easier for the mothers.

I don't feel this practice should continue because some children seems to be very closer to their mother than their father and this is not a good sign.

Imagine as a father, you're in the house with your kids and one of them happens to be in danger but decides to stay in the room and cry because the mother is not around for her to share the problems with, sometimes the child will choose to trust an outsider than his/her father because of what, the father choosed to distance himself from the child when she was growing up and sometimes, this outsider they are trusting will turn to mislead them at the end, is this what we want to continue happening in our society?

Another question here is, is there advantage when the male gender take care of the children also?

And I'll say there are many advantages if the male gender which I see here to be fathers partake in taking care of their children.

Advantages like;

• The child in question will learn to love and trust the father as well as he/she did to the mother
• The child will obey the dad even more than the mother because they are some children who only listens to their mum because they see their dad as a stranger.
• They'll be love and unity in the house

My take about this contest topic is that it's amazing because this will help the male gender who believes that taking care of the children is the mothers responsibility while they'll only be responsible for their financial needs to see that they also have a role to play in taking care of the children and not only providing financial needs. It will also help the male gender to know that they can also be helping in the kitchen, they can also help in bathroom, they can also dress up their kids to school,take them to school And bring them back, help with their homeworks,try making their hair even though it's going to be horrible 😁 but at least the kids will laugh about it and that will help them see their dad as a friend.

With this few points of mine, I believe I'm able to convince the male gender that taking care of the child is not only Left to the women. Thank you for reading
