Crazy Family Stories | Strange Decision.

Hope you are all well.

I spent most of childhood and growing up time with my grandparents. They were such lovely people that always looked out for me. During holidays, I spent most of my time with them however sometimes they were away like if they had work or had to attend to their personal business.

This one amazing time, they had to cater to something urgent and I think I was the only one on holiday. They set off early evening they told me to look the door to be safe. I waited for them to return but it kept getting darker so I lit candles as there was no power. Luckily there was a radio so I switched it on. I was reading a book so I continued with it. It was strange though, if I remember well the storyline was that a girl was stuck in a boat on sea and there was a leopard within the surroundings.

Haha, I would get rattled sometime when I heard weird noises. It completely understood that my grandparents had things to attend to but it felt pretty strange being alone in the house at night. I guess such situations make you grow up a little as you get an insight of what life would be like if you grew up and lived on your own or if you did not even have such people around in your life and it helps you appreciate them more.

Eventually, they came back a bit late and I was happy to see them given how my night had gone. I thank @alena-vladi for the contest.
