Contest 13: Unforgettable Life Horrible Moment

I bring you salutation from Nigeria. I hope you all are doing great. Am glad to be here and i appreciate @uzma4882 for hosting this contest. I will sharing with you all about my Unforgettable life horrible experience

In life there are several phases to it. The phase or moments where you so excited, happy and even wish it never ends and the moment where things are not going as expected, either going through pain, uncertainty, depression, discouragement and heartbreak.

I have had beautiful moments that are unforgettable and i have also had moments that made me cry, regret, discouraged, feel pained too and today is an opportunity to share with you my unforgettable horrible moment.

My unforgettable horrible moment was a heartbreak. Yes o a heartbreak i experience last year February 2021. Let me tell about it.

One attribute i know i have is been social with people. I can be just too friendly most times and am so happy about it. I love making friends and helping the ones around me. So 2019 i moved to a new city where i have not been before, leaving my all my friends behind. I decided to make new friends in this new city i moved to and of course i made alot of them.

One of the friends i made was this innocent looking lady, she could always share with me her challenges especially her financial challenge. She was a student at that time so i understand the financial aspect of schooling. I kept helping her out with money every time infact almost every week. I felt we were really close but i did not know that she kept going at my back to spoil my image.

I cared so much about her, even when i was warned by some other friends that this friend of mine was not sincere i didnt believe until last year 2021. I travelled to the city where i moved from for a conference. And this friend was also to attend this same conference. She called me to complain about not having the funds to pay the biles like transport and accommodation necessary for the conference. I paid all her biles and she came. During the conference, i noticed some attitude from her and asked questions and she discarded it, i began to withdrew from her and i guess she noticed, that was when she travelled back home and lied against me. I got back to the city and heard about the news yet she kept pretending to be friends with me.

I was heartbroken, i could not believe a person i could take a bullet for was capable of lies against me. For weeks i feel ill, i lost weight, i developed heart issues. she was easily believed because she seemed close to me. I confronted he with it and after much lies to my face and persuasion she accepted what she did. I ended my friendship with here there and then.

Its been one year now but i still feel the hurt. Although i feel much better now because i have learnt a lot of lessons from the experience and i also grew from it.
