PromoSteem Diary [8/06/2023] – Promoting Steemit online on Facebook and WhatsApp social media and also signing up 5 users

This flyer as shown above tells us that My promotion is majorly carried out online. My daily promotion springs from online Promotion as it is preferred by me to physical promotion. My online Promotion has been working favourably as I effectively carry it out. Through only Promotion, I've been able to reach out to many and I've increased this platform's user base by 40 plus people.

As of last week, I signed up 6 people and I'm training them on how they'll go about the platform. As of Friday 8th June, 2023, I embarked on another online Promotion. This time it was massive. How did I carry out this online Promotion on Friday?

Before carrying out a promotion online, you must have online materials that speaks, a place you do the Promotion, and a training ground for those interested. These are the materials I used for my online Promotion.

I used various social medias in carrying out this online Promotion on Friday... These social medias are;

• Facebook: My promotion on Facebook social isn't dependent on posts by me but on comments made on people's post. Someone in a group of 67k people made a post of which skills one can teach for free. Seeing this as an avenue to create awareness on steemit, I commented on the post saying I can teach them how to make money from writing on a social media. I then used a screenshot that spoke a lot. Many were interested. They kept coming to my dm telling me how interested they are. All I'll do it just to direct them to my WhatsApp group for them to join. About 8 people who saw the comment messaged and I did the needful.

• WhatsApp: WhatsApp has been one of my most effective means of Promoting steemit and it's also a training ground for newbies who are interested in knowing more. I carried out this promotion on Friday by dropping private messages to people via dm. I also did this by dropping an intriguing text in three groups. This is what I wrote and the screenshot I used.

The result of this promotion was that more than 9 people joined the group to learn more of which I told them the basics of the platform that night.

In every group, there must be a motive and purpose. So while these newbies were joining, I made it known to them that they should introduce themselves and also remain calm until 9pm that night where I'll finally reveal to them what the platform Steemit is.

	Challenges in signing up

I told them what steemit is all about and also compared steemit with other social media platform. After the drilling, I open the group for questions and questions upon questions came in of which I answered frankly.

My online Promotion on Friday made it possible for 5 newbies to join the platform of which their usernames are;

Some were unable to sign up on the platform. So I took the initiative in helping them do so. After signing up, I sent procedures on how they'll login and set up their accounts of which most of them did. I also told them that the first post they'll create as a newbie is their Introductory post of which I gave dropped guidelines and active gave some links on how to carry out their achievement 1 and submit yesterday for review. I'm yet to see their achievement 1 tasks so we can move on with the training......

Since the Promotion physical, you don't expect to spend so much time with everyone. You take it bit by bit as it's not everyone that would be online for all you have to say. That's the reason I chose to extend the Introductory post to the next day so as to carry everyone along.

Some of my students are yet to be verified on their first achievement task. These are @nsijoro and @imowilliams. It's been 11 days and @nsijoro haven't been verified. Imowilliam
