Hi everyone,
with pleasure, I enter the contest by @josepha.
What can you say that writing on Steemit is to you? And how important Steemit is to you as a person?
I really like writing on Steemit, it's a platform that I find stimulating and relaxing at the same time.
Steemit is very important when it comes to freedom of expression. Often, many "trendy" articles are read on many blogs, sites, and platforms.
Globalization has many advantages, but sometimes it tends to standardize thoughts and attitudes. Steemit is no stranger to global trends, but I think there is still a lot of room for personal expressiveness, cultural, linguistic, geographical differences.
If you read one of the many online articles that recommend "how to start a blog", you will almost always find the question of building an identity, choosing a niche and specializing in order to beat the competition and emerge.
I must say that participating in Steemit instead offers me the opportunity to indulge many aspects of my personality, from the creative to the more organized one.
We, as human beings, are not one thing, but a set of talents and they must all be cultivated.
Do you blog/write with your phone, or a PC?
I write exclusively via PC.
I use my phone to take pictures, sometimes to take notes if I have an idea and to check out Steemit once in a while, but I never use my phone to write an entire article.
The PC is much more comfortable. I already use it for work many hours a day, so it's easier to work on a large screen. Plus it's healthier for my eyes!
Do you write your words down first, or you type them directly and post?
I always write the articles in a text file before publishing the post. This way I have more space to write and correct.
Also English is not my native language so I need to check some words and expressions before posting. When I am ready, I copy and paste my article into Steemit.
Of course, despite my efforts, you may still find errors!
How have you found blogging on Steemit platform to be so far?
So far, I really enjoy writing on Steemit. The main reason is the strength of the community. I have known the qualities of the internet for many years, first as a student, then as a worker. However, internal can be very distracting.
In recent years, social networks have given rise to other very powerful means of communication, but it is not always easy to communicate. This may seem like a paradox. In fact, although we are hyperconnected, we are not always able to bond with other people.
So I think the biggest advantage of Steemit is the desire to create a very united community and above all to stimulate people to interact and exchange ideas. Contests like this are proof of this but in general the various communities on Steemit push in this direction.
