The more often we interact with a subject or object, the more we understand that subject or object. Same thing with steemit. The more often we open, the more we read information from the available writings, the deeper our knowledge and knowledge of steemit or what we want to know will be.

Why is knowledge considered important? With the knowledge we can more easily understand and do a job. In addition, with the knowledge we can also more easily climb the career ladder. Likewise steemit. Personally, there are still many things I don't know about steemit. But as time goes by I continue to learn to understand and find out various things about steemit.

Basic knowledge in steemit for newcomers can be obtained from working on achievements 1-6. Knowledge is then returned to the user. how much he wants to learn and how much effort is put into understanding and knowing about this platform.

Power Up

One of the important things that a steemit user does is POWER UP. This Power Up is an activity to add steem power by exchanging STEEM or SBD to SP (Steem Power). Power Up aims to strengthen the steemit ecosystem. In addition, with power ups we can indirectly help strengthen the steemit network and help stabilize steem prices.

In steemit the term power up can be equated with future investment or long-term investment. This investment aims to increase the economic value in the future. A user is said to develop, grow, and show progress is with power ups. The value of the vote that is owned by a user will increase when doing a power up, so we can help other steemian friends by providing curation values ​​on their posts through power ups first.

My Power Up

After knowing the importance of power ups in steemit, it certainly makes me want to power up immediately with all the savings I have in my wallet. After making a withdrawal in my wallet one month ago to add my equipment to playing steemit, I immediately did a makeshift power up.

After that I again intend if there is a little savings in my wallet then I will do a power up again. Here's my latest power up activity.

This power up I did on June 6, 2021. At that time I had 41.441 STEEM, 218.209 STEEM POWER and 10.276 SBD. The plan is, on this occasion I will do a 50% power up of the amount of SBD I have (5.138 SBD).

At that time 5.138 SBD was equivalent to 74.052 STEEM. OK! I think that's enough for this Power Up. After some time waiting, finally my power up worked. now my STEEM count is 115.493 STEEM and I have 5.138 left in SBD for my savings, just in case there is a sudden need that cannot be avoided.

The last step, I immediately launched Power Up all my STEEM to SP. And finally my SP crawled up. Alhamdulillah currently my total SP is 333.710 SP.

Commitment

On this occasion I try to commit to investing in steemit through power ups. In my plan I will try to power up regularly 50-100 SP in 1 or 2 weeks. I have a target to get 1000-1500 SP by the end of 2021. Insha Allah. If there are no problems.

However, besides that. It is possible that I will also power down if there is a need that I cannot avoid and my savings in my wallet are not enough to cover it. Until finally, like it or not, forced or not, I had to do a power down.

It is the last step taken if something untoward happens. Despite all that, I remain committed to continuing to increase the strength of my SP and to be able to help other newcomers in general and West Sumatra Indonesia newcomers in particular.

So, that's my little story about doing Power Up. Hopefully it can be useful and motivate other steemian friends to invest in steemit for the future.
