Saludos amigos de Steem Data Base, arribamos a la novena ronda de este concurso dedicado al arte, el diseño y el mundo de las crypto monedas. Esta semana el logo a interpretar corresponde al token Huobi, una cadena blockchain que cuenta cob su token.

Acudí al Surrealismo, ese movimiento cuyo representante Salvador Dalí que le dio voz al inconsciente. La obra que me sirvió de inspiración es “La Persistencia de la Memoria", de la cual siempre me intrigaba la distorsión de los relojes que el artista vuelve como si fuesen de material plástico. Ese elemento fue el que emplee, distorsionar el logo, pero manteniendo constante el color y la presencia de dos manchas o formas con los colores originales del logo Huobi.

Con la idea de distorsionar, acudí en primer lugar al programa de escritorio Artweaver Free 7, aplicando filtros de distorsión varias veces a la misma imagen. Pasé posteriormente a organizar una composición con las imágenes logradas en powerpoint. Obtenida la imagen volví a Artweaver Free 7, para obtener una versión en blanco y negro y otra con inversión de colores. Muestro capturas del proceso en forma de gif.

Greetings friends of Steem Data Base, we have reached the ninth round of this contest dedicated to art, design and the world of cryptocurrencies. This week the logo to be interpreted corresponds to the Huobi token, a blockchain chain that counts with its token.

I went to Surrealism, that movement whose representative Salvador Dalí gave voice to the unconscious. The work that served as my inspiration is “The Persistence of Memory, of which I was always intrigued by the distortion of the clocks that the artist turns as if they were made of plastic material. That element was used, distorting the logo, but keeping the color constant and the presence of two spots or shapes with the original colors of the Huobi logo.

With the idea of distorting, I first turned to the Artweaver Free 7 desktop program, applying distortion filters multiple times to the same image. Later I went on to organize a composition with the images obtained in powerpoint. Once the image was obtained, I went back to Artweaver Free 7, to obtain a black and white version and another with color inversion. I show screenshots of the process in gif form.
