Promoting Steemit has been one thing I’ve been wanting to do since I joined the platform and on Saturday, 19/06/2021, that eagerness was fulfilled.
The meeting was supposed to start at 2pm but I go there quite late and this made us go about our activities at 3pm😅
I met the likes of @nattybongo @mcsamm @collinz and @stingo98 at the parade grounds of KNUST so as to line the activities for the day.
I finally got my Steem Ghana shirt and it was with great joy to rep Steemit in grand style
We made our way to the Independence Hall where we distributed Steemit flyers and had few conversations with people on the massive of benefits of joining Steemit and the need to join the platform.
Though others were in a hurry to get off our hook, we were able to get some few people who were willing to listen, seemed interested and asked some questions surrounding Steemit
We went into the main hall and fortunately for us, there was a Dj!! We made him aware of our mission which he understood perfectly. Steemit was announced loud and clear with much emphasis on the benefits of joining the platform
Finally, at 4:35pm, we were done with the distribution of flyers and awareness creation. It was fun-filled and great meeting the guys up. I’m hoping we do this often and have lots of people join us to create more awareness in the months to come.
