Buenas Noches promosteemers!
How have you've been? I wish that you are all great, that you still manage to smile despite of everything you had been through. Aja! Laban lng!
Today, pls allow me to post how I promote steemit and the reason why I shared it to everyone.
In the year 2017, I started
@steemit but when I was pregnant I began to refrain from using gadget because I felt so dizzy easily once I am going to look at the screen. So, that's why I became inactive for a couple of years. And just this year, I decided to be back. I am so amazed by its development. I already saw plenty of communities wherein they provided contest and different entries to tackle in which it's a big help for us writers that we will not think anymore and have hard time which caused headache to search for a certain topic.
As I venture the platform, I learned a lots of things. I learned certain things like what happened to their place, their likes and dislikes, their traditions, their talents and most especially their food choice.
And because of steemit, because of what I saw on my wall, I learned to share what I have. I learned how to make my neighbors especially the kids happy. I also learned how to do charity works. There were lots of learnings here, I tell you. And you will never regret why you wasted your time reading the different entries, scrolling your account and writing your own entry. If you will just write with a heart, and try to inspire others then surely you will feel fulfilled and succeed your goal.
And because of that, I don't want to miss every opportunity to share it to everyone.
INTRODUCING STEEMIT TO FRIENDS
“Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.” – Maya Angelou
As I read @mercy11's post about her letter to steemit, it really broke my heart. By the way, she is my sister who worked hard for our family abroad. It really hurts me upon reading it that she detailed her experience and her sacrifices on her first year as an ofw. And I can see changes as she met steemit. She forgot homesickness and she was able to managed her depression. Steemit had saved her life, and me as her elder sister is so thankful to this platform. Not because of SBD why it changed my sister's life, maybe its a plus factor, but the main reason is that she don't have any idle time or vacant time of not doing anything. Because if she has, she make use of it in reading the entries, writing an entry and going out to get some picture for her next entry. And it made her life so busy that she forgot all her problems. Daghang Salamat steemit!
And that was my main reason why I wanted it to share to everyone. We, humans had different problems encountered but if we could find an outlet where we can burst out all the feelings we felt, then our life would be better and at peace. And I guess through writing or by sharing it to strangers has something to do with giving peace to our hearts where we could find our comfort to those strangers who comment and comfort us. Then of course, I also share to them that if you could give a great entry then you will received an award from the curators.
Upon hearing it, they were very excited to post their first entry, and others made a lot of research. And here's their Achievement 1 entry:
@mrs.cuyag
@sonjha
@elaijah123
@babyjl
As what you had noticed, there first post really don't have good upvotes. But I keep on reminding them not to post because of upvotes but post with a heart and try to inspire and touch lives. Never give up because there is always a rainbow after the rain. I just told them to study steemit and try to engage other steemians by reading there entries and commenting it.
I always keep in touch to them through our group chat, where I also entertain queries.
And boooOoooooOooMmMmmm! After a couple of days waiting with determination, here's there first biggest upvote.
They jumped for joy as they saw their biggest upvote. The other one was so thankful because she can buy a medicine for her sick daughter and baby stuff as well and the other one was so happy since she had a money to use for her research papers since her mom can't provide money for that.
I just let them indulge first the sbd they had but later on, I will be talking about investment and power up. Because as I had noticed, we really need to invest in this platform because it will be blooming in the future. I always read from promosteemers that we need to think for the future not just for today.
Engaging Steemians via FB Groupchats
Joining into lots of fb groupchat was also a big help for me because in that gc we learned a lot of things. And there were also a lot of kind people who shared their knowledge about the platform.
I guess that would be all for now. Thank you @julslamban, MOD and the admins as well as the promoters for making a good content which encourage us to be active and guide us for our next step in this platform. DAGHANG SALAMAT!
