Mentoring and Coaching Newbies Helps Them Invest Their Full Capacity Into Steemit

Bringing investors on board is relevant but mentoring and coaching them to be active on the blockchain will help them invest their full capacity into the blockchain. It is a great move signing up newbies through promotional activities and I’m so excited about. Personally, I have being promoting steemit to people and signing up new people on steemit but I realized that with mentoring and coaching them it will aid their growth on the blockchain hence they will invest their full capacity on steemit.

It is necessary that after investors have been brought on board, it is relevant for them to be active and also easily find their way through on steemit. I find Investors joining steemit through promotional activities and then after sometime become inactive and this affects steemit as a whole and also in so doing we loose investors.

Why is it necessary to mentor newbies?

Steemit is an amazing place to be and it is more amazing when you get used to how things are done on steemit but when new people join it is sometimes difficult to find their way through on steemit and this becomes a bit of frustration to them and in the long run affects their activeness on the blockchain. It is very necessary for newbie to easily find their way through on steemit. This is the more reason why I created a group for the ladies in Ghana and gladly we have about 14 ladies who are active on the blockchain now. I have also been organizing seminars to groom these ladies to be more active and aid their growth.

How to mentor and coach newbies?

Every steemian who has been on the blockchain for sometime now is one way or the other a mentor who can coach a newbie to aid their growth. It is first and foremost the responsibility of the person who signs a newbie up to ensure that the newbie has the needed knowledge about steemit interms of what the blockchain is about, how to login, post, resteem, power up and even use their steemit keys in so doing the newbie finds it easy and enjoys his or her blogging experience on steemit but sometimes that is not the case.
Newbies are signed up and then they keep wandering and find it difficult to explore on the blockchain. Personally I have developed some strategies that is aiding my newbies to be active on the blockchain and I would love to share it with you. Below are some strategies one can adopt in ensuring the activities of newbies;

1• Create a group page for them ideally on WhatsApp:

I have about 14 ladies so far in a WhatsApp group I have created for the ladies and this has helped so much because whenever newbies are not clear on an issue they ask on the page and assistance is given to them where necessary. The advantage of creating a group page for your newbies is to get them together and also make it easily to guide them on their Steemit journey. Just being in the group makes a newbie feel part of the blockchain and will also check out what has been posted in the group. In the group, you can guide the newbie on how to post, resteem and even do their achievement tasks. You can also post relevant links that will help these newbies in the group. I personally have created a WhatsApp for my newbies. You can also give it a try.

2• Give them updates on ongoing meetups and contests:

I ensure that I update the newbies on ongoing contests which they can partake in. It is necessary for newbies to be updated on ongoing activities on the blockchain. Updates of meetups, contests etc can be sent to them.

3• Be a mentor to the newbies:

Now days the ladies on the blockchain have become active because I have set myself to be the ambassador for the ladies in Ghana, their mentor. The perfect mentor for a newbie is the person who brought them onboard. It is necessary to mentor newbies and also guide them on the blockchain. Be a good example and let the newbies follow suit. Share your posts to newbies and help them to learn from you. You can also guide in doing their achievement tasks as well. Personally I try as much as possible to help my signups to make posts and I share my post with them to learn from it as well.

Let’s help and guide Newbies and they will surely be signing up investors as well in the long run.
