Hey guys,
It's your friend @mondraye and today we will be talking about how to grow on steemit.
I am so happy to be here in front of this wonderful community to talk about a subject that is on many people's minds.
Over the years, this subject has generated a lot of debate among Steemians, and as a result, some have quit the community.
Many said that steemcurator01 only favors certain individuals and that it is quite difficult to attract his attention (his friends).
I laughed out loud when I first learned of this and questioned their reasoning.
Then many started to share their personal stories about how their posts were ignored while others received consistent encouragement.
Well, I must say that it is not difficult to attract Steemcurator 01's attention. To learn how, keep reading.
Many Steemians believe that by constantly tagging Steemcurator01, they are drawing his attention to their posts.
He will undoubtedly receive the notification, but does that really get you the attention you seek? Hear it directly from the source.
Steemcurator01 issued a warning, which is displayed above. Based on the screenshot, he issued two warnings.
He sent a caution about spamming other accounts.
It basically means that everytime you post, you shouldn't tag other accounts needlessly.
Many Steemians enjoy spamming other users with unnecessary tags, and trust me, this is painful.
Imagine someone bringing up a pointless subject to get your attention.
In other words, spamming other users with tags won't work to get Steemcurator01's attention.
The usage of a spell checker is another factor he brought up. Imagine writing an excellent article, but your spellings are incorrect. Steemcurator01 will avoid your work, I assure you.
Many Steemians hold the mentality that "half bread is better than none"—that it's better to attempt than to quit up entirely—and as a result, they continue to tag steemcurator01
- Take a look
Nobody will desire such a result. I think that steemcurator01 made it clear, as can be seen above, that tagging him needlessly will result in your being ignored.
One user disregarded that warning and persisted in tagging Steemcurator01 in spite of repeated warnings. You can read what happened to him below.
This user had to be punished before he realized the seriousness of spam tagging, and I think we wouldn't want to be punished when following instructions is so simple.
Making comments on the post of other users on steemit is a good way to be noticed not just by the authors but also by 01 who visits posts for curation.
Imagine a situation whereby steemcurator01 often sees your relevant comments on posts he wants to curate? Of cause that will unconsciously draw his attention to you.
- Take a look.
As can be clearly seen above, steemcurator01 stated that they frequently visit the first two authors and leave thoughtful comments.
Now that we know the key, we need to boost the ante by consistently leaving meaningful comments on other people' posts as opposed to just random ones.
We can observe from steemcurator01's remarks that there is a significant distinction between comments and meaningful comments.
Some people may claim, "I remark frequently," but what kind of comments do you make? Do you ever say something that stands out? Or do you only make brief remarks?
-Eg
Nice one, wow! Keep it up, I like your post, etc.
Such remarks are not welcome and won't bring you the attention you seek.
You must interact with the user, make ideas, ask questions, relate your own experience if you can, and use creativity.
Because there are more than 1000 Steemians and Steemcurator01 won't be able to vote due to the power of his vote, we must distinguish ourselves from the crowd.
He needs to be drawn to us before anyone else, thus we need to stand out.
As we all know, Steemit is a platform for publishing material that pays people for producing high-quality content.
You must create quality posts and have an audience for them in order to draw in steemcurator01, to explain.
Many people enjoy creating very brief posts, however they still gripe about not being supported.
Your article must have at least 300 words to be considered a quality post, which can be determined using a word counter.
Your content also requires readers, and improving your title is the first step in attracting readers.
-Eg
This type of title as seen above is quite captivating and it drew a lot of attention which can be seen by considering the amount of comments it got even from steemcurator01 himself.
So, making quality contents and using captivitating titles to capture the attention of audience is a major key in staying visible on this steemit platform and that has also been confirmed by steemcurator01.
Most beginners who use the incorrect tags commit this error.
For instance, community curators always produce a weekly report, which includes the top 7 articles they selected for curation that week.
When a steemian creates a post of merit deserving of steemcurator01's vote but uses the incorrect hashtag, his post will be skipped, and he forfeits the chance to receive an additional upvote from steemcurator01.
Additionally, some individuals frequently use the #club5050 tag even though they do not belong to the club; this is extremely inappropriate and steemcurator01 disapproves of it.
Aside from the misuse of club tags, the misuse of other special tags such as clubdolphin, burnsteem25 or using multiple curation tags on a post is an offense we should be seriously avoided.
I often stress to my friends that Steemit is not a "get rich quick" website where you can sign up and immediately start making a lot of money.
You must be constant and make power up in order to get steemcurator01's attention. Consistency is about producing high-quality posts on a regular basis that attract readers and generate insightful responses.
You should also make a lot of power ups to demonstrate your support for the steem economy. Steemcurator01 probably loves power ups the most which was what birthed the mandatory joining of clubs. You should also regularly support other steemians by upvoting them.
To emphasize the significance of helping other users, it was made necessary for one to be chosen as a country representative.
Personally I often make weekly power ups every Saturday and today I have powered up 49.390 Steem which saw my cumulative sp to 733.853 thus brining me a step closer to 1k sp.
-Before power up | During power up | After power up |
---|---|---|
In addition to powering up, endevour to join a higher clubstatus. The Steemit team clearly stated that the support giving to users following #club5050 is lower when compared to #club75 and #club100 with the highest support given to those deligently following #club100.
For this reason, I have personally endevoured to join the #club100 by keeping to a 100% power up of my earnings in the last 3 months.
The Steemit platform uses the Proof-Of-Brain concensus mechanism meaning that users are rewarded by making original and quality contents.
This explains why plagiarism is highly prohibited and the consequences are always harsh and severe.
In your quest of becoming popular on the Steemit platform, you should endeavor to avoid being notorious for both has a wide difference.
You will be popular on this platform if you are either famous or notorious. To be famous, you will need to follow the guidelines which I have explained on this post but if you want to be notorious, then you should faulter from them.
When you are famous, you attract good tidings and good support from steemcurator01 and the steemit team at large but when you are notorious you you get avoided by all.
If you want to further understand the difference between being famous and being notorious without using the dictionary then you should try plagiarizing. But I assure you, you won't like the consequences.
Always endeavor to support the steemit team for they are doing what they believe to be best for the Steem ecosystem of which interest they solely have at heart.
Our duty as the platform users is to always support them and not oppose their decisions for when you oppose or question their decisions it is seen that you are an enemy and an enemy of the steemit team is no lover of Steem.
The least you can do is to bring up suggestions in a respectable manner and believe me, if your suggestion is a good one that will help towards the growth of Steem, it will be welcomed by the steemit team. An example is seen on the burnsteem25 initiative which was a mere suggestion from a steemit user.
We have looked at some important things to do in other to become famous on the Steemit platform and I am certain that if you apply all that have been said on this post, you will be far above your current state in a few months time.
Always remember that in your quest for fame, try not to be notorious.

Topik yang sangat menarik sekali, apalagi bagi kami pemula. Ini sangat membantu
Dulu saya sempat berfikir bahwa kita bisa men tag siapa saja dalam setiap postingan yang kita buat, namun ternyata itu salah.
Terima kasih atas informasinya

Great work dear. I am amazed by your research work and key points for getting famous on steemit. I have also seen a lot of users tag curators and using wrong tags in their posts. Such posts are really ignored by curators even I also skip such content while curating through Sc08 account. We all have to try to get attention of steemit curators by posting quality content, engaging with other users, using your voting power to upvote users quality content, power up regularly, follow all the new announcements by steemit team and avoiding plagiarism. Thank you for sharing this. Keep it up. Greetings
