Greetings to all, I go by the name @rockana for this is my very first time making a post in this community and I already feel welcomed. I will be Sharing with you all today how I did my power up and some advantages that comes with powering up. You’re free to grab a bowl of popcorn and enjoy the post🤗.

I will start by giving a very simple definition of powering up.

what is power up?

It is a simple form of investing where one transfers it’s steem into SP(steem power).

processes involve in powering up

• step one
I locked in into my account and it opens into my profile where you can see my steem power at the first before the power up process.

•step two
I click on my wallet found on my profile which brings me to another opening showing my steem and steem power before the power up process this can be seen below👇🏼

•step three
I click on my steem which opens to several options but I click on the option which says power up.

•step four
After clicking on power up,it takes me where I have to insert the number of steem I wish to power up that is the necessary information for the process.

•step five
After filling the number of steem needed,I press the power up and put my password. After the process is done,there’s a change in my account where the steem reduces and the steem power increases. This can be seen below

And my steem power on my profile changes from 201SP to 280SP

Importance of powering up

• It gives one the opportunity to stay and build up their club status which are Club75,Club100 and Club5050 which gives us greater reward anytime we get to post.

• It helps keep our accounts save from thieves and hackers where they’re unable to liquidify all our funds since they have to go throw a process of power down which takes a period of 4weeks.

• The more steem power(SP) one gets the more opportunity one gets for votes and curation and an advantage to better commmunities for more votes.
