Contest Entry | Branding Your Lifestyle With STEEM

Both Lifestyle and branding compliment each other. I prefer to merge them and call it Lifestyle Branding in which a person lives their live in a certain way base on their dressing, culture and way of life. While living the lifestyle we desire we could add some values, attitudes, aspirations and more to brand ourselves for marketing purposes. It inspires and motivate people to pursue whatever our goal is or whatever we are selling to the public.

With regards to steemit and @promosteem community, we could brand ourselves with steemit to sell it to the general public. When i say sell it, i mean make steemit well known like all the other centralized social media platforms like Facebook. Before someone could buy your product they should know they exist first and so with regards to steemit before someone can signup they have to be aware steemit exist. In our daily activies, it is important to spread the word and promote steemit to people not just by talking to them but by showing them steemit is part of our life in all our daily activities.

Me per say most of my friends call me "steemit". They much aware of steemit and how involve and dedicated i am to it. This is because they have seen me wear the @steem-ghana T-shirt, @promo-steem T-shirt, Steemit wallpaper logo on both my phone and laptop and also a sticker on the back of my laptop. This is about 4 items i have the steemit log on. Anytime i am on my laptop they know i am making a post or reading and commenting on other steemians posts. When i say Lifestyle Branding this is what i mean. People have to see whatever you are selling to be part of you.

Since i join steemit at the beginning the income and rewards wasnt really coming, but now i think its better and i always try to make good use of them and impact those around me. I have done quite lot of stuffs with my steemit rewards such as getting my Steem Ghana and Promo Steem T shirt to promote steem, Making charity to an orphanage house, Joining my friend on his project to promote steem on campus and more. As time goes on I have much more to offer with my steemit rewards.

Whenever my friends see me with any steemit logo on any item especially my steemit shirts they call me "Steemit Money Man" because all they see is money from steemit. We just make fun around it and some of them too are really working hard to be successful on steemit and i always gladly help them out. Most people are just curious to know what it’s about and after explains to them they see the vision. And also other doubt it and say it’s scam and I really don’t blame them because most money making cites just steal from people.

Branding your lifestyle with steemit is best way than having a conversation with them. people appreciate what they see more than what they hear. Showing them what steemit is capable of by setting yourself as an example will do the work more easier. Instead of you chasing them, they will tend to start to chase you to know more about it.

They are alot that comes branding your lifestyle, I will list some 3 tips below;

• Live The Story You Are Selling: Be an example like i said earlier. Live with it let steemit be part of you so you can be an example to the audience. When they see the success in you they will really want to know more and more and obviously everyone wants to be successful.

• Be Honest: Everything has the good and bad side of it. In as much as you want to promote steemit to them, you need to be honest with them. Dont promise them heaven and after signing them up they dont see the heaven you promised. They will eventually leave and never regard you again.

• Promote To A Niche of Audience: Know who to promote steemit to. Not everyone steemit suits. Steemit needs two kind of people on the blockchain thus Investors and Bloggers. An investor needs to have the funds or capital to be able to invest and also a blogger needs to have time and love to read and write. You need to look into these characteristics of a person before promoting steem to them. Signing up someone who does not have the funds to invest and the ability to read and write will eventually leave.
