Contest - What i Learned On Steemit | Unforgettable Lectures

Introduction

Hola! friends how's everything going? The weather is really hot in my country Nigeria and am not happy about it at all, hope the rain falls soon. Today are proud that am participating in a contest by @faran-nabeel, is so exciting, I thank him for organizing this contest.

What you learned on steemit Platform?

The things have learnt in this platform are;

Avoiding plagiarism : It was through steemit I discovered that plagiarism is a big illegal act, I never took plagiarism as a serious thing, I even thought is just a minor illegal act.

Here in steemit once a person copies something from another website and attach it to his/her post, the person's post is no longer a quality one and the person will be warned.

Relating with friends : Before I joined steemit, I hardly relate with people because I don't know how to do that, I will just reply things with short sentence and case close.

As soon as I joined steemit, I saw the way steemians were replying to each other's posts cordially and I was amused, I learnt from them and I quickly started flowing with people here on steemit each time I reply to their posts or comments.

Being patient : Through steemit I forcefully learnt how to be patient, most times I will get mentioned by owners of community whenever they are mentioning the top posts in a particular day and I wouldn't get a booming vote on time, I used to be angry but at a time I finally get the vote.

I started trusting steemit and I was able to exercise patience most times, during tough times in life, thank you steemit.

What is the main influence of your learning at steemit platform?

The main influence of my learning at steemit is known as Good Life at a young age Luckily for me I was able to be a good and smart boy after learning alot from steemit and I use to praise myself for even making Smartlouis my steemit username.

I was able to get exposed to making money at this young age of mine, I experienced what it means to work hard and not get rewarded because of a little mistake. Am proud that steemit has made me to be able to work for myself without depending on my parents all the time.

How steemit was effect you and your life after your joining?

Steemit on its own part has made me to get more information about different country's traditions because of the posts most foreigners post here. Sometimes it gives me information of what is really happening in their countries like South Africa, India, Venezuela, Pakistan, Bangladesh and so many others. I also get information from my fellow Nigerians who lives in another state far from mine.

Steemit is what I see as a skill, one day a rich person can even volunteer to pay me huge amount of money to teach he/she about this platform and the person can also invest in it because the person will know the real benefits of steemit. I have known alot about steemit, things like the club status, powering up and down, various steemit keys and their functions, markdowns and so many others.

What is your experience and education on steem?

My experience on steemit isn't that much, all I can talk about is the fact whereby I didn't got one of achievement posts verified on time, it was achievement 2 precisely.

I got stranded then, few steemians told me the corrections o should make and I was confused, I even made the corrections but my posts wasn't very till I was remembered again by the greeters and unfortunately I didn't get a catch-up vote because I forget to post something else that would have received the vote.

My education on steemit really improved when I started reading alot of steemian's post and I learnt new words from them as well as the way their punctuation marks were used. I improved in English language through steemit.

Conclusion

I remember when my elder told me that @steemalive labelled him Plagiarist after warning him several times, he had to write a post apologizing to steemalive and the community in other to be forgiven because since he got that label, he wasn't having any votes in his post, that was more than 7 months ago.
