Good day my dear people of steemit betterlife community I bring you to my post which I am participating on @goodybest contest titled recipe for my favourite homemade drink.
So I will be showing us a step by step way to prepare the popular drink we see on the street everyday the name of this drink is called zobo. So let's get into it.
Our ingredients are dry zobo leaves sugar and water. So now let's dive into the preparation so please note there is no specific amount of the zobo leaves you are to use so you make your choice either making it much or little.
So in a clean pot I add in my leaves which I bought for 500 naira which is 2.3 steem so the leaves are much so I add in three jugs of water. After adding the water I then take them to the fire boil the for 1 hour after boiling I allow it to cool down then the next thing I did is I filter the leaves out allowing the tasteless zobo to stay in a bowl.
I now add a cup and half of white sugar to the bowl of zobo stir it till the sugar is dissolved. You should try some of the drink if it is not ok you can add sugar to your taste. You can either drink it the way it is or you can add it to a refrigerator for it to become very cold.

Hi @ahmneska, I'm so glad I came across your post! I've never seen or heard of Zobo leaves before, and I didn't even know what they were called. I think they might not be available in Pakistan, but I'm excited to learn more about them. Sobo drink is one of my favorites, and I know how to prepare it myself, however, I used to add more ingredients to mine, ingredients like Vitamin C seeds, Ginger, cloves, and pineapple as a sweetener. Once again thank you for sharing your recipe with us
