My Neighborhood Story | A Farewell to Home: The Pain of Leaving a Beloved Place

Imagine a place where we have been living for years, suddenly we have to leave this place, how will we feel, what will we think, what will our feelings be?

All these feelings, all these emotions, these concepts, today I am seeing with my own eyes that my relatives, who look like my aunt, have been living here in our village for years. But now they are moving from here, which they are deeply saddened by.

My aunt had no children of her own which was the biggest shock of her life. But still, they did not lose heart and their brother favored them by giving them a boy and a girl. Whom they took care of and brought up from childhood and nurtured their marriage. Thus he lived his life in our village even his brother who was my aunt and his brother lived in another city. But here they stayed with us because they were very attached to us. Due to this, he lived here all his life.

His son, who is his brother's son, and has been taken care of by my aunt, is now grown up. He is married but now he wants to go back to his native village. Due to this, they thought that they would leave this house and they would shift from here to their native village.

Today was the day when they had to load their belongings and leave here. I could see a sad look on her face which proved that she was not willing to leave her beloved home and village. But still, he has to go with his son, it is another big shock in his life.

They were our relatives, so we came to see them off because their belongings had to be loaded into the car. So that they can leave here with ease and we prayed to them that Allah Ta'ala would make it easy for them in the journey ahead. And grant us the opportunity to live happily there. But the people of the neighborhood around us also realized a lot and all the people together loaded the goods in the car so that they could reach their destination.

All the people helped, thanks to which we loaded all those goods on a truck and then we said God bless them. All their hearts were sad, their hearts were crying tears of blood, but they had to go here. Because it was his village, all his relatives lived there, and his brothers and sisters were all there. They thought that they would go there and start their own business, so they had to leave here, so we called them God Hafiz.

When we lose a precious thing, a precious place, or a precious life, it is felt when it passes over someone. As I see this grief on them today, it makes me realize how much it hurts to lose something precious. May Allah give patience to everyone and make it easier.
