As a regular pioneer in my congregation, I'm always eager to participate in events that promote spiritual growth and fellowship. With our Pioneer's Assembly just around the corner, scheduled for tomorrow, Friday the 21st, we had a rehearsal today to ensure everything goes smoothly.
In preparation for the big day, each of us pioneers has been assigned specific roles and responsibilities to make the assembly a success for our attendees. I'm excited to share how our rehearsal went, so let's dive into my diary entry, as I'll make it brief...
My day began early, at 6:00 a.m., with our family's morning devotion and prayer. It's a special time we share together, setting a positive tone for the day. After our devotion, my father and I, both pioneers in our family, got dressed and had breakfast.

We then headed out to pick up our fellow pioneers at the main road, marking the start of our journey to the assembly ground in Uyo. The bus was filled with excited pioneers, and we set off together, eager to participate in the rehearsal. The journey from our pickup point to the assembly ground took approximately 25 minutes, but before we knew it, we arrived safely and successfully.

As we stepped out of my father's bus, which he kindly provided for our transportation, our faces lit up with wide smiles. It had been a while since I last visited this sacred venue, and I felt an overwhelming sense of joy and excitement as I took in the serene atmosphere.
With some time to spare before the 9:00 a.m. rehearsal, I decided to capture some of the impressive architectural features and facilities within the assembly ground. Here are a few photos I took, showcasing the beauty of this special place...

I thoroughly relished the opportunity to stroll around the grounds, capturing the beauty of the surroundings through the lens of my camera. The photos I took, which you see here, serve as a lovely reminder of my experience. Just as I was wrapping up my photography session, our circuit overseer arrived promptly at 9:00 a.m.

We were then summoned into the hall to commence our rehearsals. The program began with the first congregation, followed by ours, and then the last two congregations, each with their respective pioneers, making a total of four congregations participating in the rehearsal.

The rehearsal was divided into two sections: presentation and interview. For the presentation segment, we were required to work in groups of two to three pioneers, while the interview portion involved individual pioneers.
I was assigned to the presentation segment and chose to work with two fellow pioneers. I'm grateful to report that our presentation was a success, and we received approval to perform it at tomorrow's Pioneer Assembly. After two hours of intense rehearsals, we concluded with a heartfelt closing prayer.
With joy-filled hearts, we decided to capture some memories of our time together. Here are a few photos we took...

It's a profound privilege to serve as a regular pioneer in my congregation, entrusted with the sacred responsibility of sharing the Good News of God's love with the world.
Attending this rehearsal in preparation for tomorrow's Pioneer's Assembly has been an enriching experience, one that has deepened my commitment to this noble work. I've chosen this path as my lifestyle because I firmly believe it's a life that brings purpose, fulfillment, and joy, a life that's truly better in every way.
