Massive protest in Abuja Nigeria due to bad government.

Hello Steemians, this is the present reality of my country Nigeria.Nigeria my country is country with good people but but leaders.

It is very unfortunate that ever since the return of democracy in 1999 in the Nigerian government and politics, issues of development and the plight of the people are never the concerned of the Nigerian politicians rather their own selfish interest.

During president obasonjo's administration (1999-2007) under the People's democratic party's led administration, the seed of corruption was sown and planted.

The president that supposed to concentrate on the provisions on social amenities, quality Education, quality medical facilities and many other things that could allivate the pains and sufferings of the downtrodden of the societies was concentrating on sharing money in bags among the top politicians in the Senate and house of representatives house for them to shut up their mouth in order for him to have his ways in looting the Nigerian Economy the more.

After obasonjo's administration, Musa yaradua took over in the year (2007) , president yaradua tried to reform Nigeria from corruption but the last straw that broke the camel's back was his death (2010) when Jonathan who was the deputy president of Nigeria as at that time took over power.

The coming into power of president Jonathan in may (2010) grew corruption in Nigeria to the maturity stage, throughout Jonathan's administration, the other of the day was looting of fund among all the agencies and parastatals of the federal republic of Nigeria.

The governors became so powerful that the house of assembly members can no longer check their excesses.

This made Nigerians to begin to call for change in the year (2015) hence the administration of buhari set in.

When buhari came into power under the All progressive congress led administration, the concern of the people was not also in their heart of buhari and his co-politicians in power which made hardship to become intense in Nigeria.

The administration of buhari made bag of rice to rise from #8000 to 40,000 for the first time in history of Nigeria.

After buhari stepped down, making Nigerians to experience 8 years of intense hardship, President Tinubu came into power and remove the fuel subsidy there by worsting the Economic hardship in Nigeria.

Transportation become hard, feeding become hard, dollars rise higher in exchange rate to Nigerian naira, cry every where in the country while the politicians are living in expensive houses, driving exotic cars concentrating on their family alone.

This make the chairman of the labour union to organize a massive protest against the evils of our Nigerian politicians towards the Nigerian masses.

The protest was massive and peaceful with Nigerians chanting song " food no dey, good water no dey" and carrying packers with different inscriptions:

• Government review the fuel subsidy

• Government should lead us well

• Government should stop corruption

• Government should consider the fall of naira to dollar.

• Government should stop being self centered.

May God help Nigeria my country out of the mess and evils of wicked politicians that has cursed the hardship in all the looks and cranies of the country Nigeria.
