Hello everyone, here is my entry to this great contest. Much appreciation to @klen.civil for making available this very educative contests. To participate, here is the link to the contest. I would like to invite @rafk, @moer, @beautiful12 and @wase1234 to this contest.

Today, we had a memorial service for all our loved ones who passed on along the way. It was done in Catholic church molyko, Buea in Cameroon (what3words). It started at exactly 10am and ran for over 2-3 hours. It was indeed a joyous ceremony as we did it in memory of our loved ones who passed away.
The priest preached on and great things were said with regards to the memories left back by these our loved ones, the kids they left behind and the grand kids they didn't get the opportunity to meet. After the message, a thanksgiving offering was given as we thanked God for these memories. After the service, i took some photos with my mum because she was also visiting from the city of Limbe, while i was already based in Buea.

After the service, we moved out into the fields, still within the vicinity of the chapel. I decided to take some photos with my nephew.
While on the fields, all those who came to support us were entertained with food, drinks and live music. We had a special table for family members only. I was so glad to see some of my relatives after quite a long while. We ate and drank, and discussed for a long time. We did some catching up on the things we missed out while away from each other. It was quite a reunion, i must say!

After the refreshments, we then moved to our family house (mostly relatives and close friends of the family).

When we got to the compound, a short mass prayer was made over the grave of our grandmother and aunty. We made some wishes and wished them well.
