Steemit Engagement Challenge S5-W1: Laughter is The Best Medicine

Here, I shall discuss about the things that brings me joy, and I shall as well share a prank with a friend with you, Happy Reading!!.

Discussing Laughter

Happiness is free, you don't even need money or excessive funding to be genuinely happy, I have always said this statement to people. Now, what is a happiness?.

Laughing is a form of joy , it's a way of expressing positive emotions , it's something that shows we are currently in a good State, it displays the joy ability in the present moment.

There has never been a time I'm always happy unlike whenever I meet with my loved ones, going home has always been something of joy to me, I always enjoy the experience, it brings joy around me all of a sudden, it's somewhere I feel relaxed, it's somewhere I can laugh and share my burden and not get to worry about other things.

^{Expressing Laughs at home with my Nephew}

Here is an example of something very funny that occured when I was at home , this still makes me laugh extremely hard till date.

So my nephew in the picture above was taken to her school someday, then later in the day, she came back from school, she turned up from school with a new hairstyle entirely.

I didn't even noticed this on time as I was not really familiar with her hair style and all, when her mum returned she was surprised and was like "am I seeing double or your hair looks different", it's looking different not in a bad way thou, but the baby was just laughing all through I couldn't even imagine why.

Babies are just too pure, full of love and nothing else, they are Just extremely fun to play with, so we asked the teachers the following day what has caused a change in my nephew's hair, then the Headmistress told us that it was during a practice in the school and she saw some seniors plaiting hair and she kept insisting she wants that also, haha, they said she kept crying so they just had the senior lady work on her hair as well.

What's funny the most about this is that, she doesn't allow people to touch her hair at home, infact, it's always difficult when they dress her up and wants to comb her hair, but there she is, letting someone rough play with her hair in school, she's just 2 years old by the way.

Everybody were just laughing that day, and it just seems so impossible to believe, it was really a funny moment.

Discussing A Prank

Okay!, this was an occasion that occur during my school period in the university, there was this night I and my roommate went out for night class, I stay off campus which is about 10 minutes walk away from the school campus.

Getting to the night class, it started raining, I have an house mate who's so loose and always leave his belongings around, so that present day, it started raining and he was wondering whether he had closed his window or not, because whenever it rains and his window was opened, his room end up filled with water, and that day, he had left all his important credentials out in the open , so should in case rain enter his room, his belongings will definitely got soaked .

So he came to me to ask if I knew is window was opened or not, but he's too loose, and I just had to teach him a lesson that day, then I pranked him that "Haaa, I saw your window opened when I was coming", the rain was already getting heavy, before you know, the guy entered the heavy rain and ran to the apartment like that, getting home, he discover it was a prank and the window was not even open in the first place.

My intention was to teach him a lesson as he's always too loose, and should in case of next time, he would want to be careful with his credentials.

Happiness is the best medicine, you owe it to yourself to be at least happy, and the funniest part is that, it's free and you don't even need money to be happy.

Whenever I feel bored, I always log on to my Twitter feed and view one or two things, provided you have internet, you can always laugh through the social media, there are a lot of funny skits out there that brings joy to others, you can as well use TikTok or watch YouTube Reels, there are alot of funny moment on those social pages.

Always keep this word to yourself that "You owe it to yourself to be happy".
