Steemit Engagement Challenge S5-W5: A day without Internet

Hello everyone, how are you doing, I welcome you once again to the Steemit Engagement Challenge, this is more of a great opportunity since the engagement challenge has been extended by additional weeks,meaning we still get to enjoy discussion In the selected communities.

Today, I shall be participating in STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE community, and give my opinion on "A day without Internet".

The Internet

Practically, all activities now exist on the internet, the internet has become a gateway of surviving, there are many people on this league that all their activities are based on the network, personally, I am connected to the internet 24/7 so as not to miss on any important update, so there surely be somedays where we might not have this , so how do we succeed a day without the internet? Read on!!.

Do you sleep the whole day if there were no Internet In your area?

---

The day I had an experience of no internet for some hours, I was able to meditate rather than sleep about it, It was then I was reaching out to my close by neighbors and my family as well, spend some quality time and do things that doesn't involve internet.

Everyone were literally surprised to see me in that position, because they know I am not always idle and I hardly come outside to fraternize, it was indeed not a bad day, as it gave me idea on how to move closer to family, and the experience is a memorable one , the internet was gone for 5 hours, then at the end of the line it was restored , but the day memory was lovely and something to think about.

What activities do you engage in till it is restored?

---

I engaged in various activities, I visit some friends in the neighborhood, I had enough time to gist with family and friends, and the experience was top notch, although it doesn't feel like my regulars, but it's still worth it at the end.

I also engage in other activities such as playing PS4 with my cousin, and in some other time I could decide to while away time by cooking or baking of sorts.

How often is that experienced in your area?

---

This doesn't often occur in my area, and the only time it was severe was when my two network were down, and I couldn't process to speak to friends we were supposed to have a meet up.

I have cornered the situation by having two separate network, which means in the case that MTN internet is bad, I could come to AIRTEL network or vice versa, this precaution has been a great one and has been effective ever since, Internet is Life!!

If you were to solve such issues forever, what will you suggest?

---

There are two issues I have always had, which are Internet and Power supply, so if am given the chance to be leader of the free world, there is no way I would let this pass, and it would be one of the things I would take much time to solve at first.

Internet issues has been a great effect to many, one could miss a lifetime opportunity by not being at the right place doing the right time, internet could cause this and so does Power supply, there has been many occasions where I missed some tasks due to the fact that I couldn't access internet or sometimes I don't have power supply on any of my devices.

So If a future comes where I am given the chance to solve any problem, internet and Power supply are definitely on my top Fix list.

The internet has become majority of our lifestyle, it has been something that brings us closer to our loved ones, internet has bring new world entirely, I could decide to video call any of my relative through the internet in any part of the world , this is a great acquisition in human lifestyle that we can't do without.
