The most basic contribution of agriculture to the economy is of course,the supply of food stuff's provisions of employment and means of livelihood to those engaged in it. But beyond this agriculture also provide raw materials for industries and contribute to the improvement of the nation foreign exchange position through exports as well as savings in import. Now could you imagine that things in Nigeria is now high because of some certain things;

Hmmm things are really hard. The fact is that people must address themselves to the role of agriculture. In developing agriculture , a nation has several options to follow which may make the price of food items to reduce in price, but they are so lazy that the even forgot that they is tomatoes in the farm. Agriculture really helps in our environment base on food items, and other things that can help us as a human being, therefore any county that wants to use agriculture to develop it's economy must understand and learn so many skills in agriculture before setting up strategies for implementing agriculture policies.

Agriculture in Nigeria appears to be focused on the food crops now, now since we rearly see people who do planting, don't you think the price of item will increase? It will because we barely see people who are planting in the farm. There are clear indications that the country can easily produce more food items than it can consume, and unless opportunities for exporting some of this crops can be created. While it is agreed, therefore that agriculture may probably provide the basis for integrated rural development, the whole process involves a lot more than just planting and harvesting. It involves the development of self sustaining local economics with their attendance service.
