Although sweating is a natural process that all human beings have, for some people it has been of great concern for it, controlling sweating is an uncomfortable and even worrying problem for them because, they do it excessively and causing their body distills a very unpleasant odor.

When talking about sweat, it refers to the colorless acid fluid that we secrete through the sweat glands which are located in the inner area of our skin. In the same way, sweat contains a large amount of fatty acids which have the minerals responsible for acting as an agent capable of attacking fungi and bacteria. Now, although sweating is a normal process of the body because through this action we can regulate the temperature of our body, when we sweat excessively it makes us have the sensation of being dirty, we emanate bad smell and feel the skin sticky.

It should be noted that excessive sweat production is normal if we are doing some sports activity, a hot place or failing that, we have an episode of anxiety or fever. In some cases, excessive sweating is also caused because there are hormonal changes or, women are in the process of menopause. However, the action of sweating is considered abnormal when there is no apparent cause that may be causing it or failing that, if we expel sweating without making any effort and we are in a cool place. In order to avoid this uncomfortable and embarrassing problem, there are natural medicines that we can use and in this edition of Wellness, I share some of them.

Let's start with the infusion of sage since, this plant contains antiperspirant properties responsible for leveling the function of the sweat glands. Similarly, sage has B vitamins and at the same time, magnesium particularities that, act as regulating agents of hormones therefore, adequate control of sweating is achieved. It should be noted that this infusion should be taken twice a day or, failing that, apply the liquid on the skin after bathing. Then we have apple cider vinegar, rosemary and thyme seen, this mixture would generate a deodorant of natural origin which acts as a neutralizer of excess fluids and odor. This deodorant can be applied to the neck and armpits.

Cornstarch is also a great ally when you want to avoid excessive sweat. This product is very gentle on the skin and by making contact with it, it keeps it free of all unpleasant aromas and at the same time, preserves it dry. To prepare this natural remedy we only need cornstarch and baking soda; After mixing them we will have a powdered deodorant which we will apply in the armpits before the day and leave it there while we perform all the daily activities. Another measure that we can use to combat excessive sweating is, mixing baking soda with lemon. After having our mixture, we will apply it on our body and let it sit for 15 minutes and then proceed to rinse with cold water.

To conclude I will talk about tea tree essential oil since, this oil contains antibacterial properties which are responsible for reducing bacteria and infections on the skin as well as the bad odors that emanate from it. Tea tree essential oil is applied to the armpits and to make the application comfortable, we can help ourselves with a spray or a washcloth.
