My Heartfelt Gratitude to the Steemit Community : A Tale of Transformation

Sometimes I usually imagine my life without Steemit. I would have been enslaved in Ponzi scheme platforms, wasting my life on social media watching reels and chatting like others, depending on my parents for every dime. I wouldn't have known what it means to plan for my future as a man. I wouldn't have known what I means to be a responsible youth and not a parasite. My crude mentality when I got a phone was that I could only start making money when I'm done with higher education and have a well-paying job.

My life would have been screwed in my early 20s. The introduction of Steemit in my life has made it possible for me not to make the same mistake most youths are making where they'll still be very much dependent on people to survive even in their late 20s and early 30s. They end up suffering from menial work just to feed themselves. All thanks to technology for making us exposed.

Technology has made it possible for me to navigate Steemit as a content writer and plan my life in terms of sociability, creativity, finances, business ideas, and some opportunities that can change the physical aspects of my life, such as skills and bodybuilding.

It's been another 365 days as a content writer. Every day in our lives marks new levels of creativity as we put our brains to good use every now and then. I'm a proud content writer on the Steemit social media platform and I want to use this medium to thank this platform and those behind it for the opportunity to become a content writer with value on the platform. Every content creator on other social media platforms, in one way or another, celebrates their wins when it calls for it.

Most people spend years striving in the ecosystem to get recognition, and sometimes it takes years for them to be recognised and reach the height they dream of.

Let me ask: which social media platform would teach you high-paying digital courses for free? No social media platform can do so. You'll have to subscribe to a mentorship to learn, but Steemit has it all; that's why I want to use this medium to thank Steemit for changing my life positively. I'm so much indebted to this platform and everyone in it.

So to end the year 2024, I decided to celebrate Steemit for changing my life. My 3 good years would not have been that successful without Steemit. If Steemit has changed your life, give a big shout-out to Steemit. Give three poses to Steemit for making you a man and woman.

Bossj23 says a big thank you for the love, support, teachings, corrections, responsibilities, comments, meetups, power up initiative etc Why am I thanking steemit? Most people may not really see what steemit has done for them but I do and I must say a big shout-out to this platform. Without Steemit, I doubt I would have had a financial future plan for myself as an adult. I doubt I would have been able to make realistic goals in life and I doubt I would have been able to receive life-changing opportunities and help others grow as well.

I want to say a big thank you to Steemit for opening doors for me. How? Through the doors, I've been able to enter the bosom of unending digital skills that are life-changing. I could never imagine myself learning crypto for free without having to subscribe to direct mentorship or go through YouTube videos blindly. The following are the digital and physical skills I've learnt from crypto.

• Crypto: Learnt about it by following a user who creates extensive posts about it and shares videos of strategies and advanced mechanisms. With crypto, I've been able to help others [mentees] raise funds to do their wedding and build houses while still holding on for the future. I also learnt it from all the engagement challenges that have been running on Steemit for years now. This is my second side hustle.

• Affiliate Marketing learnt in 2023 and this year from the teaching challenge hosted on Steemit. Through this digital skill, I've been able to sell courses online and also promote Steemit free courses among my contacts.

• Photography learnt since 2022 when I became active on Steemit till now. It's what I do as a physical skill. Steemit made me take photography to the next level. I wasn't a fan of taking pictures, but Steemit drove that skill, which is now taking me places.

• Graphics Design

• Cyber security

• Crocheting

• Baking

• Teaching skills

• Electricals

• Drawing with 3D

Others include writing applications, creating quality content, which has helped me write reports, term papers, and book reviews for people; fitness; spreadsheets; web development; makeup; cooking, etc. All these are the skills Steemit has taught me. The ones listed above are the ones I've integrated into my daily life, and I'm earning from them.

Without Steemit, I wouldn't have been able to learn these skills, though I've not been able to use them all in real life.

I wonder how I would have been on Steemit if I wasn't introduced, shown and mentored by a woman who'll I forever live to thank, and I thank God for her being patient with me as I learnt, slacked, and came back. Her username is @ngoenyi. I won't want to say much about her because words alone won't be able to explain my appreciation for what she did. Replicating the favour, I decided to go all in by also helping others know the Steemit social media platform.

It was then I came to believe the statement that we rise by lifting others. Over 50 Steemians I introduced to steemit and mentored are responsible for my growth and the height I've attained. When you know you have people to encourage to push through on steemit, you won't have feelings of giving up because they are your pillar of support. The more I mentored them, the more I became active on this platform and the more I improved my creativity, which earned my support for quality.

They'll disturb me to give them content to create and will also ask questions about the platform, which makes me ever ready to give my all on Steemit. Even when my peers left Steemit, my mentees held me tight. We've had a series of meetups, and they have been with me virtually and physically. The highest has 4k SP while the least has 250 SP. As I've been able to lift them through the Steemit social media platform, I've given myself an opportunity to grow and attain heights.

Why am I thanking creativity? Steemit taught me how to be creative in such a way that anytime I want to write a content, I must make sure it stands out and not creating just for the votes. Creativity has made me see steemit more than just as a platform that earns one financial rewards but also as a platform where you can learn from others and others learn from you. Having this mindset has made me create contents in ways others would benefit and aside from creating these contents, I try my best to comment meaningfully on people's posts so they too can feel their contents are noticed.

To my fellow content creators, whom I use in enhancing my creativity, I want to say a big thank you to all of you for being cooperative throughout the year. With your help, I've been able to create content that stands out and places me on a scale where I can be recognised for this creativity. If not for you guys, I wouldn't have thought of being too creative. We did our 2024 dance hosted by me in appreciation for their cooperation in my content writing journey. They have served as the face of some of my content.
