Weekly Reflections #27: 2025 Bucket List - Travel Goals

I have wanted and wish to visit some places here in my country, Nigeria, and outside my country. These places are places I have heard and read some beautiful and interesting things about. Today's title 2025 Bucket List - Travel Goals, is a better time to talk about them and how to make them a reality.

In my country, Nigeria, I would like to visit Jos although I had an opportunity during my National Youth Service year (NYSC) to attend a convention in Jos, but I was so engaged then that I could not make it with my mate. Jos is situated in the north-central region of Nigeria; it is a northern state with a mixed religion of both Christian and Muslim. Jos has a cooler weather condition that makes it different from other states in the country. This is one of the reasons I want to visit Jos to experience a cooler climate.

Additionally, Jos has fertile land that boasts agricultural productivity. A lot of crops are cultivated in Jos, like Irish potatoes, tomatoes, Mazi, beans, cassava, fruits, etc. Jos has a diverse heritage that attracts tourists, like the national museum and wildlife park. It also has a beautiful landscape, hills, and plateau for outdoor events. They have also got lots of delicious traditional dishes.

Another place to visit on my list is Sychelleus. This is a tourist destination that is surrounded by over 100 islands that make up the country. It is a good place for vacation. My sister visited there for vacation and told me how cool and good the atmosphere is. The country has a low population, which is my choice for a place to relax. There should be fewer people; I also learnt they are peaceful people who accommodate strangers.

Seychelles has lots of natural vegetation like the coconut palm trees that provide shade. In general, it has a beautiful landscape. Their spoken language is French and English. It's a country I can adopt easily since I have a little understanding of French.

Finally, Canada is a country I would want to visit with my family. It is known to be a family-friendly country with lots of wildlife views for adults and children; there are also museums, they have standard health care, there are lots of outdoor activities that have something to offer to every member of the family, be it young or old. We can create unforgettable memories on our visit to Canada as a family.

It will also be a good place to study as it is ranked among the countries with the highest educational standards in the world; they sometimes provide support services for international students, giving them a chance for job opportunities after school. Canada is an ideal place to study.

I am planning on achieving this goal of making it to these places on my list by saving up for it and keeping my hopes high to visit these places, if not all at least one of them.
