Diary Game|| 04-01-2025|| It was Indeed a Very Funny Day

Dear diary,

I woke up very early in the morning because my work at the office resumes fully today. I had my morning devotion today alone because my wife and kid were still sleeping as at when I left home because it was too early and so I didn't even bother to wake them up, whenever they wake I knew they would observed theirs.

I made used of our electric heater to heat my bathing water, I did not even allowed the water to be hot enough because I thought in my heart that I was already running late.
I brushed and showered and dressed up for work, then I left in a rush to the park when everywhere was still dark because I had to be at the office before 6:00am. Reaching the park, unfortunately I met the only available tricycle leaving the park though empty but I was right behind and it was still dark so I couldn't stop the tricycle.

I took me some minutes of delay before the arrival of another tricycle which I was fortunate this time around to board. I was the only available passengers but as we moved a little bit further it was filled up completely by passengers waiting by the roadside.
I alighted at my usual spot which was the junction to our office and then took a walked down to the office.

I thought I was late but I upon reaching the Church office I discovered that no one has come around yet despite my late arrival which happens to be few minutes pass 6am the normal time for Covenant Hour of Prayer (CHOP) except the two security guards, I called the Chief security and I asked "what is happening today?" His response sounded to that he is very clueless as well.

I thought is it because we just entered a new year, and since the year is still fresh maybe they are relaxing themselves to refresh and resumed sooner at their convenience 😁😁😁. But you know I was sure the members know me as their Pastor that I don't believe on spiritual vacations.

I quickly rushed into my office very disappointed and picked my notes book and Bible and returned to the sanctuary to start the program not minding wether no one will come.
Shortly after I commence the program with 5 minutes opening prayer, I noticed some members has started coming into the Church premise; but one thing that kept me worried for about a minutes was that no one among them even cared to join me in the program.

For a minute while still praying I asked my self the same question I have been asking myself since my arrival when I discovered the sanctuary was still empty, the question is "what is happening?"

In a moment light came, I remembered that I announced last Sunday that there wasn't going to be Covenant Hour of Prayer today, but rather we are going to be having our Annual Workers Submit which is scheduled to be a live transmission from the Head Quarters via telecast.

So the people came to clean the sanctuary quickly before the time and they thought I was just praying alone before the program will commence. Hmmmmm! Is wasn't funny anyways. I had to pretend and play along because it would be unbelievable to them that after I announced for the program I again forgot?

Immediately I returned back upstairs to my office and for some moment I laughed so loud alone regarding the big drama . I then instructed the securities to start the generator and the studio equipments once the time is getting closed.

The program was very Impactful and we had a massive turnout of workers in attendance here in our local assembly.

Finally after the program I had a meeting with the Church Board and my Associates Pastor which was due to our intention of sponsoring some students who are currently out of school due to certain financial factors.. We were able to atleas picked about 10 of them from the Church; 2 of them are Primary School level, 3 for Secondary School level while 5 are for Higher Institution.

After the meeting, I went to the saloon and got my hair barbed and from there I returned home. Reaching home I ate two varieties of food cooked by my wife which are Sweet Potatoes with stew and also Macaroni with stew as you can see in the pictures below.

Afterward, I bath and slept. When I woke up I studied and prayed and later washed my bike as you can see in the picture below.

Afterward, I joined my wife to watched some movies and later ate our dinner which is the left over from the afternoon lunch. That is the end of all my activities for the day before I retired to bed after taking our family night prayer
