I believe we cannot see us. Us is what hides inside. What we see (admire or dislike) is what we are wrapped in. A colourful paper, an old newspaper, something that reflects the inside or makes the inside look better. The mirror shows the wrap not the gift and we made our brain believe that that is who we are.
