@clarvin In my own opinion i believe we are in the company of other beings. I have heard of stories where mirrors are not in a certain position in the market so that one doesn't uncover identities of other beings.

mirrors are also used at certain spots (end of small hallways) for a reason.

I can imagine what you mean with this no one can really know what the purpose is for that but to be safe we all just assume the worst until the truth has been made clear..
