GREETINGS TO ALL STEEMIANS

Dear Diary

I am always delighted to see every brand new day. This is a special gift from our creator.

l was enjoying the morning cool breeze before I woke up because throughout the night everywhere was very hot due to power disruption in our area. But my alarm didn't allow me to sleep, lt was singing.."is time to wake up,, is time to wake up". Before I realized myself, I was already late to work.

Actually it was 5:30 am but I was still feeling sleepy and I woke up afterward. Waking up finally was some minutes after 6:am.

The frist thing l did was to pack my baby's bag, putting all the necessary items needed. In just few minute, I have finished aranging my bag with my baby's items to be used.

Boom hubby woke up, we conducted our morning family worship routine and we prayed together asking our heavenly father for the day protection.
l quickly arrange the room, making it clean and tidied.

Hubby swept and clean some dust in other facilities.We enjoy the cleaning together, while our baby was still sleeping.After the cleaning, l went ahead to make a very simple but delicious breakfast.lt was boil yam and vegatable sauce.

I cut my yam in my desire size and took two different vegatable leaf and garnish my sauce.l also prepare my baby mixed cereal and put it inside her warmer which will serve as her afternoon food.

Before, l realize myself,she got up from bed and started crying. After petting her, l bath her and she was freshen up afterward she began to smile and started singing her favourite song... " I love you,,, you love me,,, we are happy family👨‍👩‍👧..." that is only my baby can sing. We both went to dinning and have our morning breakfast. Although it is our local delicacies, we all ate to our satisfaction and left for today's work although we were a bit late.

We set to move.

On arriving, l noticed that I was only ten minutes, l was excited because l woke up early thinking that I woke up late not remembering that my wall clock is running faster. Other nurses at my working place came earlier too.

l went to nursing station, change and resume duty. As a nursing mother, the hospital management placed me at OPD for the week. ln OPD we have lesser work, we received patient and client, register new, sort out old patient folder and check their vital sign, which includes Blood pressure, pulse, Respiratory rate, weight, height and Temperature.

We work tirelessly today by reassuring most of them. Some of them were admitted, while some left after seeing the doctor.

My special thanks goes to my adorable princess,who slept from 9:45am till 12:02pm. Waking she was crying as usual, l took permission form other nurse just to take care of her. l change her clothes and diaper, fed her with her lunch, we took 2O minute and enjoy ourselves together.

Returning to OPD, l met a lot of people waiting to see the doctor.Although we have a lot of patients, it was my pleasure to work with nurses who have good heart, love and unity.

By 2pm, other nurses came early, we did handing over duty and then we left. On my way, l decided to stop at POS point, just to get some money for market.
I tried the first place, they said that network is completely down, l move to another point but with the same story.

l turn my eye, l saw another POS point, dispensing money to a customer, inside my heart, l was excited that l will withdraw there but on reaching, I handed over my card to her, immediately she said network has gone completely.I feel so bad and disappointed, she asked me to wait a little, which l did, lt was more than 30minute but on a negative probability.

I was still standing but to by fortunately, l was rescued out by a kind person.
She is a loving woman an baby clothes vendor, her shop is opposite the POS point,.she said that,l have been observing you and our baby since.She asked me to make transfer for her and collect cash,l couldn't thanks her enough but I did my best possible.

For helping a disappointed stranger like me, l decided to buy my baby's soap from her and thanks her immensely.

I quickly enter market got few needed items and some fruit, just to use it and calm my head.

After the whole stress, l decided to use fruit and chilled drinks with my baby, which serve as my lunch.

Although ,lt was very late but l don't have choice. l freshen my baby, put her to bed so that l can prepare dinner.

I enter my house garden, picked water leaf and vegetable to prepare vegetable soup locally know as (Edikan ikong).
Due to high cost of everything in the market, l decided to make small quantity.

I quickly finished everything, meaning that, l try to be fast like Robbot, clean up my kitchen and freshen up, before l could finish everything, she is up from bed.

I thank her for allowing me to finish, we both started eating. At that time, hubby returned home and joined us.

It was a lovely day, after eating, we gisted and talked a lost about the day. I related all l faced today at work. We should be extremely excited about each day we see our selves alive because there are some people who is alive but they are praying to die off, because of thier condition, we also talked about some preventive measure which can help individual to be free from some pathogens.
