My Town In Ten Pics : Navrongo in the upper East Region.

Hello everyone,

It is yet another great day, and I will be sharing with you today my community in ten pictures.

This comprises of various building in my community and some basic descriptions about them. I hope you like them and feel free to contact me when you find yourself in this locality for my assistance if needed.

The GG Hostel

This is one of the best hostels that students enjoy whiles they are on campus. It is close to the lecture halls, food joints and as well water supply is consistent and flows

Assembly point

This is the assembly point for the navrongo Health Research centre and it is clear those who normally apply the road . It is a very nice place and they are even making it. They are yet to sign post of the assembly point.

3 The Alumi

This is the Aluminum building available on campus. It belongs to the past students association and they haold their meeting both on this platform and other places.

The Apartments

This is the apartment of the school where lecturers in the institution reside in othe to provide good sevices to members around for them to rest well and provide good services.

The Bicycle

This is the only bicycle we have at hand. I use it for a lot of activities, for buying of water, shopping from the market and a whole lot of other stuff.

The Waakye joint

This is the special waakye joint we normally buy food from.If you have been following my diaries particulary sunday ones, then you might have come across it. It is very special to us those here.

The Main road

This is the main road to the Navrongo Health Research centres main entrance. This is one of the few roads that have hade the opportunity to be tire partially. It makes the place clean even if it rains.

The Yam

This is the point that the yam sealer will have make the yam ready to be fried. All the things that are attached to the yam is removed and cut into slices as it is in the bowl.

This is the main football field of the town. It is normally busy with a lot of activities and most of these activities are done in the house of the

The Yam Joint

It is one of the special places we enjoy fried yam. The yam is been prepared and it is then brought here for actions to be taken. The yam is then kept in the hot oil for it to fry and them taken out. We normally prefer eating ot right after it is removed from the oil. To me , the hotter it is, the more sweeter it is.
