Alvarez added the last goal but before that, Eder Militao unfortunately turned a ball into his net. His keeper couldn't do anything about that great game. This gave the home side three goals ahead and the visitors were finding it difficult to put themselves together. At the end of the game, it ended in a 4:0 win for the home side.

Real Madrid has been 14 times champions in Europe and was stopped by the citizens in such a manner indicating how tight that game was. They struggled away from their home on this particular day while their opponents rejoice in front of their own homes fans. This was a very great game and strategic tactics from Pep Guardiola.
Not that, they completely lost the game without attempting to provide their best. To be specific, Toni Kross from the side of Real Madrid was able to hit the woodwork but could not yield any good results. This was at the point when the game was 1:0 and could have turned everything around.
This seems to be excellent for Manchester City since they lost to this same team last season in the champions league at the same stage of the competition which is the semifinals. They were fortunate to have gotten away with this and they got away with a very huge margin.
I can confidently say that they did an excellent job throughout the game because they dominated every aspect of the game and they truly deserve to with that great margin. I am happy about that fact. They were those that dictate the pace of the game and the speed with which it should go.
Highlights of the game
A lot of great touches and passes were made from both sides yielding an excellent end. They had total control of the game in all areas and they had it all right and perfect. The game was brought to a successful ending with Manchester City winning in both leagues by 5:1 against Real Madrid. To the best of my knowledge and what I have seen, I will tip them to win this year's champions league.
