Steemit Engagement Challenge S9-W5: "Seeing is believing" versus "Knowing is believing

It is with greater pleasure I write to share with your my thoughts on the concept that "seeing is believing and knowing is believing". I strongly believe that you will enjoy reading my entry hence come visualize with me my thoughts on these key phrases.

In other, for us to understand my point clearly on this issue, I will like to clearly define each of the terms involved in these discussions. I will like to start with

Believe and from the Webster's Dictionary, it is

to consider to be true or honest.

As for seeing and knowing, I believe we all understand it from our perspective. Which will not be different from this point in this particular entry.

Write your understanding of the two short expressions above.

Seeing is believing is true to most individuals when they are been asked. However, to me, I have two different angles for this particular saying. One is from the spiritual point and the other is in the physical realm.

As we all know, from the physical point of view, you have to see something in another to confirm its presence or in other to consider it as being true per the definition of the word believe given above. Something that has been seen by an individual or a group of people is true to such group or individual hence the saying seeing is believing is what such people will say.

In the other world of the same story, you do not have to see something before you can believe it. In this case, it takes us to the point of spirituality. At this point, it depends on your religious beliefs that will guide you to know what to say. And to me as a Christian, I know that when we believe in something, it will help us to understand it more and know when to use what.

For "knowing is believing" it can be described in other words as knowing something is believing it. This is because knowing is about having knowledge about an issue. It will not be bad to say knowledge is believing. This means that as one knows about an issue, it is a fact that the person will believe per the definition of belief above.

In this particular content, I believe that seeing is believing however it entails more than just that when you look into the spiritual aspect. In that aspect, it is like knowing is believing because the spirit will give you the knowledge to understand hence you know is good to believe.

Give an example of "Seeing is Believing" vs. "Knowing is Believing", for example, it could be based on personal experience or can be written within the framework of science, philosophy, religion, and art.

From the physical point of view, a practical example of seeing is believing can be demonstrated using water. Saying water can exist in three different forms is one. In this case, normal water is liquid, and putting it in the freezer makes it ice, and heating it to boiling point gets it into the gaseous state. Liquid had, and solid can be seen hence making one belief in it.

The other aspect is the spiritual point of view. A typical example is the fact that, seeing people's lifestyles and how God has blessed them. Those who live spiritual life have it manifest in their physical being for us to see. That is why I can say that givers never lack.

I will take knowing as believing also from the religious aspect. I will say that, if you know there is God, that is when you will believe in him. Someone who does not have any idea about the existence of God can not believe in him. I have to know that there is God before I believe in him. Knowing here refers to the point of knowing him and his presence.

What is the moral message that can be taken from this expression

Life is full of beliefs and what we decide to believe in is left to us. Knowing some of these things will he guide our life, put us on the right track, and help us to teach others too who do not know. As the saying goes knowledge is power. I hope we make good use of these phrases as everyone gives his or her full point of understanding on the topic.

It is important to know that what we see and we know we do believe them. Believes can be in either way per the definition above and that will help guide us in our daily activities.
