No one is hiding, what a play then? (Diary, June 24th, 2024)

The dawn was slowly coming down, I was still sitting alone in the corner of the coffee shop with several glasses that had been empty for a long time, just sitting there in silence among the slightly scattered cigarette dust looking at me. It's been 15 hours here and it's time to go home and retreat for a moment and rest the brain and body after a long night's activities. The pressure of work is quite tiring but I need to be strong.

When I got home, I realized that if I didn't bring a spare key, like it or not, I would have to be willing to sit outside waiting for the sunrise, there was nothing I could do if I forgot to bring the key and came home so early. The dawn call to prayer rang out, tidied up, and went straight to morning prayer on the back terrace. Because soon all of my family in the house will wake up except Fatiya who will wake up at 9 am.

A simple prayer; Bless my family with pleasure and happiness, and put away all the worries from my family and let them have a happier life.

The sounds of birds and squirrels began to ring on the branches around the house, an atmosphere I often enjoy alone in mornings like this. My eyes started to feel sleepy while listening to music on my smartphone. Relieved, because since yesterday afternoon many things have been resolved. My family had woken up and performed morning prayers and after that, the doors were opened for me.

Clean up and change clothes, have a simple breakfast,, and get ready to rest. It's time to let the body recover completely.

At 10:30 I woke up and felt refreshed even though I hadn't had enough rest, but there were several things I had to do. Clean up and get dressed then go out to see the activities of the children who sound busy outside.

It turns out that Fatiya had several friends her age visit, the children of my cousins who today were picking star fruit which will be made into Asam sunti/Sunti Acid (Traditional ingredient for sour soup recipe)

One of Fatiya's friends could be seen covering her face with both hands, and I immediately understood that they were playing hide and seek, but strangely when I took the photo, no one went to hide, instead, they laughed out loud while sitting on their chair. It's a strange game, and the rebellious action was pioneered by Fatiya.

Fatiya with her 2 cousins playing hide and seek, but it did not work well obviously

I was smiling all the time seeing their behavior and finally, I sat down to see them having fun playing together. Fatiya, as usual, would immediately come to sit on his lap and ask for a video of ducks to be played. It was getting harder and harder to avoid talking about ducks day by day. We started joking while none of his other cousins dared to get close to me. Finally, I asked Fatiya to continue playing with the two of them while I showered and prepared to do other activities.

Faiya and I, baby duck and Dady duck playing together

At around 2:00 pm, I returned home after the transfer papers had been completed, because my family was proposing to move from the village where we were registered to the village where we now live with my parents.

It also took quite a long time to be able to make this administrative movement procedure. However, in the end, all the matters were completed without any obstacles.

Fatiya wanted to have lunch and shower with me before taking a nap this afternoon. Fatiya often asks for things like this and this time with a little intent way to force me to do so. The reason is simple, the baby duck has to bathe and eat with daddy duck.

Ok, no problem, and everything went normally until Fatiya went into the swing while I swung and we both fell asleep.

This afternoon I managed to continue sleeping for a while until 4 pm. Immediately get ready to go work at the coffee shop as usual.

This time I only planned to make two posts and then I needed to do some other urgent things in my real world. Today the report as SR must be completed because it is already delayed for 1 day than it should be. I went out after Asr prayers and managed to publish a diary before proceeding to make the SR report.

The office-coffee shop at 5 pm

At around 8 pm, I finished making my weekly SR report, but before I could go on other agendas, my friend asked me to meet at another coffee shop. I have to go there immediately because the need for my presence there is urgent.

As usual, talking to a group of people like my friends doesn't involve a lot of small talk and there's no need for unnecessary talk. To the point and clear the meaning conveyed. I've actually gotten used to things like that since I entered the working environment in 2002.

2 hours later I returned to the office (coffee shop) and continued to work on several things until late at night. Looks like I came home early again this time.

See you in the next diary

Thank you bro @irawandedy

That was a nice play. I think everyone who paces through that stage had fun even when it not this type, but this type is unique because no one was bidding.
