World Smile Project (WSP)-IND Response to Massive Flood In North Aceh

The Philippines Emergency Response has not been completed yet, but another emergency has again come to our front door. World Smile Project International team needs to shift off the blanket and take immediate acts to respond and support those emergencies because we are here for humanity.

Our fellow steemian in North Aceh had to leave their homes because of the flash floods that hit their home. Thousands of refugees thronged the camps due to the increasing flow of water. Some of them stay at the homes of relatives and close family, but not a few have to make emergency tents for shelter.

The World Smile Project is trying its best to respond to this emergency by allocating about IDR 10,000,000 or equivalent to 147 SBD to help the survivors in North Aceh. Our volunteer @alee75 has informed the World Smile Project team about the recent condition in his area, and that information we used to start our response point, his house was also flooded as well as his neighbors, you can see in his post at the link below:

Base on the emergency team meeting last night, World Smile Project will respond to the refugee camp in Matang Kuli North Aceh with the groceries and sanitation packages such as; Rice, eggs/sardines, mineral water, blanket, sanitary packs, and some other things.

The meeting was held by WhatApp call since I am in Banda Aceh for Humanitarian Project Meeting with stakeholders and donors.

Meanwhile, World Smile Project International is also preparing the Philippines Food Emergency response with possible support to 100 of the family. Venezuela World Smile Project representative @mariana4ve has transferred 200 SBD for both areas of responsibility as she reported on her post as below link:
