The word gratitude is a word used for showing appreciation. Gratitude is a word used to show that you are grateful about something done for or given to you.
You see, showing gratitude is an attitude. There are many people, no matter what they've achieved or what they have or whatever they are, they don't show gratitude or even show signs of being appreciative. That's because they may take some things for granted, or maybe they don't notice those things.
Meanwhile, I appreciate our amiable @goodybest for organising such a thoughtful contest. The topic is a nice one, so, I'm excited to tell us about those three things which I'm grateful for this year so far.

Firstly, I am grateful for where we are living today. Someone will say," Oh, they have moved to their own house. No, it isn't. I'm thankful because for 2 years, we wanted an apartment to park out of where we had been living, but we couldn't find a suitable one. How God helped us. We found a very nice apartment not too expensive as well.
You may not understand this. Those who have lived in areas where houses are scarce and very expensive will understand. So for this, I am thankful to God.

Secondly, I'm thankful for my little mushroom farm. This was one of the things I planned to achieve this year and, by God's grace, it was accomplished. Though not as much as I expected, I'm grateful I started something.
So I went to learn mushroom farming in 2021. Ever since then, I've not been able to really practiced what I'd learnt. For the past few years, I've learnt many skills, but I never practised them for once. That's why I'm happy that I started this one. Though it's very small, I believe a bigger one is coming.
Thirdly, I'm thankful for my life. I find myself struggling with my health for more than a month now. I've been to the hospital, bought drugs and taking different medications. I'm simply grateful because not many people go through some sickness and survive it. It's not been easy, but I really want to appreciate God for preserving me and my family.

Thank you for the nice comment. Mushroom is available but you need to book for it since it's not much and it does not stay long before it spoilt, people tell me when they need it so that when it's available, I'll call them.
