Mine wasn't love at first sight on my part. It was at first sight for my husband because he said he prayed that God will bring him someone, so I just fitted into his desire. On my part, it was a very difficult one to accept him, I just wanted to make him a "money making machine." A "chop and go," in my Nigerian local parlance.
It took us years before I could give him a little chance, for reasons I can't explain here. It was my big cousin who sat me down, preached to me to see the reason for dating him or eventually marrying him. This is because my cousin knew him to be a nice person (which I can testify) and, for many other reasons, that was why she spoke to me, advising me to give him a chance. Even at that, it wasn't easy.

The quality that I love most about my partner is his sincerity and truthfulness. His yes is always yes, and his no is no. That made one of those things that made me love him till date.

I remember those days he would come to speak with me to give him a chance, maybe while I'm in the midst of my friends and I would just embarrass him and laugh at him, and he'd just walk away.
The most memorable moment
The most memorable moment for me and my husband was our wedding day. It was just a "wow" experience, all loving and perfect as he kept kissing and telling me how much I meant the world to him.
Then another one is the day we had our first child. The love between the three of us was just so loving. I mean we could just look at the baby and smile over and over again. As he kept kissing and telling me thank you for making him a father.
