The Diary Game:The Lord's Day filled with activities and show of love|| 14/04/24

Steemit greetings to everyone. It was an amazing, 14th April 2024, though I had what I considered as many activities. Sundays are usually a day of rest for many people, but for me, it's usually the most busy day sometimes.

My church service starts at 9am every Sunday, but the workers meet by 7am to pray, then it is followed by Sunday school. That's why my family usually wake up early in order to meet up with the workers by service 7am.

So we woke up and were in church as usual. It was a family Sunday where families gather to pray and receive God's word to be more loving and united. It was unusual because there was a love feast. The church made provision for a buffet for everyone to eat their food of choice after the service. It was a way of showing that the church as a family cares for everyone, it was seen as a way of uniting families. So everyone in the church, both young and old, got a plate of food to eat. I also got mine.

Not just that, after the service, I got time to discuss and show one of my new steemit mentees few things on steemit as her achievement 1 was just being verified.

When I said my Sunday was full of activities, it was, really. I left my church for our headquarters for leadership meeting as my husband went home with the children. The meeting took about four hours, as I got home by past four.

I got home, freshened up and then ate since I felt hungry. My rest was shortened as my younger sister came visiting. After some time, it was time for a house fellowship which our members came to join.

It was around 7 o'clock, and my sister said she was leaving. I asked her to help me carry refuse to dispose of, which she did. A little walk, we got there, disposed of it, then she boarded a tricycle back to her house. And I returned to my family.

Getting home, my kids and their father were outside. They had eaten since I'd prepared dinner for them before I went out. We sat outside, discussed a bit, then went inside. After a bit of engaging on other people's post and typing this post, I slept off and woke up this morning only to realise I hadn't finished the post. Maybe because of the previous day's stress.
